Another lodging option, located on the property, is the Barton House Chalet. This 3-bedroom chalet is situated on the far side of the property near the private pond. Pros:Far from fancy. Just good, clean place to sleep. Convenient to skiing and many other outdoor activities. I stay there frequently. Satellite TV and WiFi. Easy check-in and -out.
Pros:I like that the staff was extremely helpful with giving me and my family places to go that was around in the area. Knowing what will be a good fit or looking up something for us. They help with directions to get to what sounded best.
Cons:The hotel is in the middle of everything around. So there will be a drive when staying.
Pros:Looked to be built in the 70's old style but great place to stay on a budget. Girlfriend and I went for a Christmas vacation to Ski at TimberLine ski resort. For the skiing the snow was terrible, icy. For the hotel well taken care of, bed was comfortable, and hot showers. If you don't need luxury stay here. Oh and pets are welcome, exactly what I was looking for. Friendly Staff. Munchies within walking distance.
Cons:Outdated appliances. TV stations were fuzzy.
