Overall value for money was above average however, every vacation has to have bumps and ours was an AC unit that could not cool the entire space. This required a move to another Suite and although not a problem still an added adventure refe
No the hotel is well run and cared for
The room was very comfortable with a kitchen, table, sitting area and desk area. If it was actually on the beach, it'd be perfect.
Besides the room, when we arrived hotdogs and hamburgers were available for the guests, right off the grill. The hot breakfast in the morning. Also, pet friendly.
Very minor: the master bedroom was a really tight fit with the king bed and a dresser. Also, (this applies to all modern hotels) we could not find any way to watch a movie in our room; a waste of the TV. You need to bring your own equipment. (cables, etc)
The hotel was great and it was clean, the staff was great anytime I need a room it will be Residence Inn
Hotel does not honor their Smoke-free Policy. Even after reporting smell of smoke in hallways to front desk, it is allowed to continue for 2 days. Guests safety & security is not a concern of Hotel. Back Entrance door was allowed to stand wide open allowing anyone off the street to just walk into the hotel. Staff does nothing about guests not behaving properly especially young teenagersduring the night. Fire escape stairways had paper & soda cans thrown on them, not very safe for guests during an emergency situation especially during the night.
The hotel is clean. It is new. The service needs improving. Our rooms were not cleaned until after 3:30 even though we had left them at 9am. The Wed. night barbeque did not start on time...45 minutes with people waiting for the hamburgers to be done. Just not quite as nice as expected.
