The Comfort Inn and Suites hotel is just minutes from Madison, WI, conveniently located off Interstate 90/94/39. Many local points of interest are in the area, including Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center, Alliant Energy and Exhibition Hall, University of Wisconsin-Madison, American Family Insurance Madison National Headquarters and PepsiCo. A number of companies are in DeForest, including EVCO Plastics, ABS Global, American Girl, Demco, Ball Corporation and Ehlenbach's Cheese Chalet. Hotel amenities include free hot breakfast, free wifi, fitness center and indoor hot tub. This is a pet-friendly hotel. All rooms include microwaves, refrigerators and two televisions.
The pool area was somewhat small but very clean and adequate. Nice hot tub, cute splash area for young children, and basketball hoops in the pool for teens on up. The rate was exceptionally reasonable considering the complimentary breakfast.
No complaints. I would seek out a Comfort Inn & Suites in other cities going forward based on this experience alone.
clean, friendly, very good breakfast and good location
Great place for family and business. I'll be back!
I was really surprised with this hotel, from the check in right thru breakfast in the morning. everything was great. at check in, the guy at the desk moved me to a king room even though they had a double for me, newer, spacious, clean, and well lit.
there was not a single thing I can think of that I did not like. ok, one little thing. there was no butter for my waffle in the morning, but that was no biggie, I eat too much butter anyways. lol
It was so clean and roomy!!!
Loved it all
The attentive staff was very helpful.
The secondary lock on my room door was broken.
Had a nice stay, room was clean and staff very nice and the breakfast was very good. would stay again.
The staff was great, courteous, helpful, knowledgable. The breakfast was good & hot, nice selection of options. Coffee pots were full all day. Dining room attendants cleared tables and dishes quickly. Fairly quiet. Free internet access was a nice extra
Beds were way to firm. Tossed & turned all night, got up with back pain every morning. Tub/shower in rm 222 creaked and squeaked. Heating a little erratic at times. TV sensor put on the dresser top, not on TV itself or inline with remote use from beds.
The fresh fruit and the workout room with the recumbent bike.
They were having some issues with the fitness room door and television during this visit.
Nice fitness room fresh fruit with breakfast
some cleanliness issues in the bathroom -- taken care of by staff.
Very nice large & clean rooms, outstanding for the price!
Mega flies in the dining area ruined what would have been a very nice breakfast experience. Food was very good, particularly for a complementary meal but the flies were in the hundreds & no fly strips anywhere to be seen.
Location next to the highway
Hair dryer and TV in bathroom did not work, room was not very clean (could see dust on the lamp bases). Staff did not remedy the problem. The other person in that shared the room with me is disabled and had to go to another room to use the hair dryer
Great staff. Andy was most helpful
Hard to find. At least for my GPS it was. Something to do with the naming of streets.
Cheap room in a safe location
Dated and breakfast is lacking
This motel is out in the boonies, but has a great staff and the room was clean and comfortable.
Nice big hotel rooms and beautiful decor. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Close to Madison but private location. Pool area is very nice and large. Would definitely stay again.
I was coming back to IL after a ski trip with friends when I found myself in the middle of one of the worst snowstorms I had ever experienced. After sitting on I-90 for two hours in white out conditions and being detoured around several turned over semis and cars off the side of the road I decided getting home that afternoon was just not worth it. I got off at the next exit and thanked my lucky stars when I saw the Comfort Inn in DeForest. My room was clean and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to accomodate others like myself by bringing in sandwiches, making pizzas (no restaraunt on premises)and keeping the bar open so we could all comminsurate. They even gave rooms to the staff that nite so no one had to drive home in those conditions. The next morning we found out that those that continued on, got stranded just past Madison and spent 10 hours in their cars overnite on I-90. We received a wonderful breakfast in a beautiful eating area, information on road conditions from a top notch staff and a good nites sleep. Thank you to all the staff at the Comfort Inn in DeForest!
