It was a well deserved and most awesome romantic get away!!
Love it all. Only thing bad, which isnt really that bad, but found clothing from prior guests behind the chair.
Overall stay. Great staff, very luxurious, great layout of the hotel and rooms
Needs a spa/fitness center
I had a chance to enjoy the Casino and Hotel over the Christmas Holiday!! it was warm and enchanting!! Everyone was kind and professional, I can't wait to return. We Loved it !
We loved everything, especially the free upgrade on our room, and room service was awesome!!
Room at night had big spotlights we weren't told about upon check out. Had to close drapes and it was still lighting up the room. Just terrible
1. Location 2. Free parking
1. Side view of the Detroit river from my room (still okay though)
Very accommodating, had lots of fun. Love the morning buffet, would like to see that as an available upgrade
Room needs a fridge and microwave
The location was great.
Our view was overtaken by the top of the parking garage. The room was dirty. Everywhere we looked, there was dirt, smudges and grease marks on the walls, headboard, bathroom walls, mirrors, thermostat cover, you name it. There was even what looked like a bit of dried food on the bathroom wall. Everything was dusty as well. The decor throughout felt outdated. We were in one of the orange rooms and it did not feel very calming. Perhaps some of the other rooms have been updated? Room layout made it difficult to get comfortable--one big chair with no footstool, and only a small wall-mounted desk with one chair. How do two people eat a meal like that? Could not get the thermostat to adjust and the room was overly warm. Lobby staff was pleasant but not overly friendly. Room service was poorly executed--quality of food was sub-par, they messed up one of our orders and only brought one set of silverware.
Overall a good location, with very nice and friendly staff.
the lamps in my room 2609 were covered in dust, as well as the wall behind the lamp between the beds--- [have pictures] Also, the coffee used for the keurig machine is absolutely horrible. We had to call down to get extra tea instead. The eggs, bacon, and the French Toast were cold in the buffet, many people complained. Response from the gentleman walking around in behind was "yep" They did bring out new trays of hot food, however the problem from what we could see, was that the water underneath was not hot and steaming when they lifted the other trays out. There was a full container of bacon which they just took out back. They were going to reheat and bring out later. Not a good thing to do.
The smoke - the casinos are FULL of smoke. They need better smoke eliminators - the smell makes you sick.
Service and staff.
Very very clean. I felt safe in the hotel, casino, restraunt, parking structure and nearby streets even at 2am. Great walking distance to Ford Field, a couple of nice restruants and clubs. Awesome mini bar, toiletries, water pressure in the shower, hotness of the water, coffee/tea bar, tv, soft linens, comfortable bed, security features. Overall a five star hotel. I did not use room service but I heard great things from other patrons. The staff at the hotel was amazing! Super friendly, fast and informative. I really have great time staying at the hotel.
That we couldn't bring our own alcohol. And it would if been nice if our room would of had a Bose alarm clock & and auxiliary cable to play music through the radio. But that's being picky. It was really a first class hotel.
the valet service, nice hotel.
the wait to check in was 45 minutes.
