8.0 Great
Being in the greek district was fun with some nice restaurants but did not feel safe walking beyond that immediate area.
A
6.0 Okay
Pros:Service was quite prompt. View is nice. Accessibility to the city is good.
Cons:Handles on closet and bathroom doors were dirty. Iron had melted debris. Ice/coffee station was delaminating and falling apart. Sink faucet was loose. Some stains on the curtains. If this were a sub-$100/night room, I might have not be concerned with the deterioration of the room. However, at $250/night I expect everything to be well maintained. The staff was quick to provide a new iron and send some one up for another cleaning.
B
6.0 Okay
Pros:The view, location
Cons:Waited in line for 30 mins just to check in and I was only 5th in line. Absurd and felt the front desk person was definitely in no rush to help. Also charged a $14 “amenities fee” at checkout. It was not brought up prior. When asking front desk about the fee, they said it covers WiFi and Parking. This stuff is already free!! WTF Greektown? Typical Detroit shadiness that keeps the city looking like sh**.
D
10.0 Excellent
Pros:Friendly kind staff.
A
8.8 Great
Pros:Great staff. Room was clean. View was excellent.
Cons:Room cards failed on numerous occasions. Kept nowhere near magnets or phones. First time right after check in was annoying but the third time after a concert with the elevators jam packed, not cool!
D
9.7 Excellent
Pros:Close enough to walk to Tiger's games.
Cons:While approaching our room we could hear neighboring couple and son yelling and being loud. We turned right around and went back to front desk where we were quickly reassigned a quiet room overlooking downtown and Comerica Park.
A
10.0 Excellent
Pros:When visiting any hotel, the staff make up 80% of the overall experience. The staff here at Greektown were my only friendly, but also incredibly accommodating and informative. If I had reasonable questions, they found me an answer as well as provided knowledge on getting around the city. They went above and beyond to make sure my stay was a memorable and satisfying one. Will definitely be returning in the future.
L
9.4 Excellent
Pros:My room was clean, smoke-free, quiet and on the 22nd floor. The elevators worked well, they had a key security. Couldn't go pass casino floor without key card. Free valet, in room service and breakfast pre-order. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed my stay and will return!
Cons:Room service and free valet
A
6.2 Okay
Pros:The room was fairly clean with the exception of someones fake eyelashes on the floor which was pretty gross.
Cons:The fact that my sister and I had a marathon early in the morning. The loud neighbors were rude and inconsiderate. I called security on them once, however they kept being loud. My sister and I got at most, an hour of sleep.
A
9.7 Excellent
Pros:The view we got was amazing. The staff was excellent and so accommodating. I mentioned it was my birthday and they were so nice to be sure that we had an amazing view.
Cons:Heard loud music all night. Not sure if it was from bars outside or from neighbors? Couldn't tell.
