The location on the lake.
My attempt to get breakfast at the restaurant.
Great Restaurant and food
Close to Railroad
Good location to the lake area
Price- we stayed there on a Tuesday night in low low season and still paid top price. Not much of a price break for a mid-week spring stay with no one else at the hotel

Rooms need to be updated Toliet bowl was dirty or stained
Nice location and easy to find. Nice staff.
Excellent walleye sandwiches at Icehouse restaurant on the lake.

Starting to show it's age: carpets, walls, bathroome fixtures.
Great room, good restaurant, great location
We loved everything
We visited in the fall of '08 and wanted a nice, romantic getaway for me and my husband. That is not what we found. We had the whirlpool suite, which was nice, but the room itself was a bit worn and tired. It also wasn't very clean. The hallway wasn't clean either. There was karoke that night and we were up many hours due to the party-goers. We did like the balcony over looking the lake. We ate breakfast in the AM, but would never bother eating there again. Service was terrible. We wanted the buffet, but never had someone wait on us. We just went up to the buffet but still never got anyone to wait on us for drinks. One finally showed up to give us the bill. We wanted to rent a bike but were told that was not available. They had plans up that they were in the process of renovating but I am not so sure we will plan a trip back to see how it turns out.
