Pros:The car was great - clean, drove well, great size. The representative at the counter was very friendly and spoke good English. We were able to get a mobile GPS and a pass for the tolls. All in all a great experience.
Cons:The rental car counter was hard to find at the Lisbon airport - It was under the Hertz heading and there was no Dollar sign, so we had to ask. The mobile GPS was tricky to use at times.

Pros:Rent went as expected for hertz at dollar price, so overall a good deal.
Cons:Both kayak and Hertz did a terrible job of communicating the address and the fact that it was a hertz location - kayak lists the correct address only when you book (not in the confirmation email), the phone number is hertz but agents didn't know about dollar. You also can't find a dollar location on Google maps or their website. Also, location manager was very literal and not very customer oriented. When another customer asked to add scratches to the file and the agent did it, she repreended the agent for marking what the customer wanted because they were "not relevant". I wonder how the customer would be able to defend himself if they blamed him for the scratches upon returning the car...

Cons:Could let drop off a location specified in contract downtown Lisbon. Had to to go to airport. Phone numbers didn't answers. Email addresses given were wrong.

Pros:Service was pleasant and the car was clean
Cons:I had I hard time getting there because there was no address given by Kayak. Calling the phone number given was very expensive from my US based cell phone and it proved to be useless. After an hour of searching I found a hertz address and checked to see there was a relationship between the two companies. I took a taxi there expecting to be turned away and they said they were expecting me.

Cons:Contrary to the reservation, I was not able to drop off the car after 7pm. Very inconvenient.

Cons:My reservation was confirmed, then unavailable, the location was 30 minutes walking further than first posted and finally my offer on the spot was over twice as much so k canceled and took the bus after wasting most of my day. I’m the end your site did nothing more than waste a day of my vacation and additionally prevented me from seeing people and places I had made plans for. Never again.

They didn't have my car when we arrived and we were asked to wait an hour and a half to get our car. Additionally when trying to refuel outside of the location, the clerk was not polite and laughed when asking a question on how to use the EU pump (tap in and out payment).
