Situated in the heart of Dresden, amidst the beautiful gardens along the banks of the Elbe, The Westin Bellevue, Dresden offers the highest levels of comfort. Our excellent location presents the famous Canaletto’s view of Dresden’s skyline, which artist Bernardo Bellotto once recorded for posterity in his paintings. The baroque quarter’s exclusive shops, galleries, and cafés are just a few metres’ walk from this gracious hotel. With their magnificent view of the Church of Our Lady and Semper Opera, the Bellevue Gardens and terraces invite one to stay awhile. Eat well at our restaurant Canaletto, which attracts with its beautiful ambience, unique view of Dresden’s old town, and excellent service. Our café bar Pöppelmann serves snacks, coffee specialities, cake, snacks, and cocktails, which you can savour inside or in our Mediterranean courtyard. In the summer, enjoy a regional brew in our beer garden Elbsegler. Our hotel also features a large banquet and conference centre that holds up to 860 people. From a cocktail reception at the Bellevue Gardens to a car presentation at the baroque patio or a relaxed gathering at the Atrium, The Westin Bellevue, Dresden provides the perfect setting for every occasion.
Good location - city center easily reachable by foot; attended a conference, which was very well and professional cared for by the hotel; comparatively large rooms. Definitely would recommend it.
comfortable room, clean, luxurious bathroom. It is a 5 star hotel and lives up to the expectations
internet connection is not complementary
The comfortable and clean room with a wonderful view to the river and the skillful and kind staff
Everything was perfect
The location to historic buildings.Clean comfortable and a great place and value for the price.
There wasn't anything I disliked about the Westin Bellevue Dresden.
the spa/wellness area
The breakfast was fantastic!
The fact that smoking is allowed in all public places in the hotel.
The friendliness of the staff, and also its situation, so near the centre of Dresden, yet peaceful and quiet.
Location on the banks of Elbe, with nice gardens, at a pleasant short walk to the major atracctions of the city.
This is a five stars but the mini-bar is not a frigobar, it is part of the closet lined with mirrors, and there isn´t ice-maker machine outside the room. I asked for a double room and receive a twin, with two narrow separated beds fixed to the wall.
Nice room with a wonderful view. Excellent breakfast at 19 euros each.
The Canaletto Room (dining) has become much like any other pretentious "fine dining" facility in hotels throughout the world, with uncoordinated service. It's a shame, since the hotel used to have beautifully prepared regional cuisine with smooth, professional service. Most of the hotel staff were helpful, but there was a person, position unknown, seated at a desk in the lobby--who helped nothing, simply got in the way (interrupting guest transactions for her own purposes).
Very big bed.
