It had a great local pub around the corner that we just loved. There was an excellent grocery/deli next door. We were told it wasn't the best area by locals but we enjoyed the calm outside the hotel compared to the bustle of Temple Bar area.
There was a bit of confusion at check-in. Otherwise, all was good.Nice hotel. It had a great local pub around the corner that we just loved. There was an excellent grocery/deli next door. We were told it wasn't the best area by locals but we enjoyed the calm outside the hotel compared to the bustle of Temple Bar area.
WiFi should be free in the rooms. It's free in the lobby and very faint in the rooms. DSL was available for free, but my phone doesn't plug into DSL.Staff was great. The restaurant staff was very friendly. The location was great and just a stone's throw from the most authentic Irish pub in the world, The Cobblestone.
Convenient to transit and tourist attractions.
Details in housekeeping (vacuum), overpriced meals, and No WiFi in rooms.Overall great room for the price compared to other hotels. It was a short walk from the LUAS train line to the hotel and around the corner to the Jameson Distillery. Compared to other hotels this was nicely decorated, and mostly up to date. No WiFi, only broadband, in the rooms, WiFi only in common areas. Overpriced breakfast, would look outside the hotel to one of the many bistros in the area. My husband got blond hair tangled in his toes from the carpet, which didn't say much for housekeeping.
