The hotel is located within an easy five-minute walk from Dusseldorf's main train station. The room was very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They make you feel welcome. The gentleman at reception was so friendly and helpful. He even gave us an impromptu German lesson. The beds were clean and comfortable and overall was a very good value. The staff was incredible nice and helpful and the room was really good for the price. The hotel has a very centric location the room was very clean. The personnel was so helpful and kind. The host was also very helpful on check-out, letting us use luggage storage until it was time for our onward journey later that day. The breakfast is very basic. The room is very small. Elevator was old and a bit crampy. The bathroom and toilet space was small. The sheets were yellow, which shows that they have been used for a long time and washed again. The water kettle was also very dirty and there was garbage in it. It is a bit cold during the night in winter. Water clogging in bathroom, room heating is not sufficient. Not a 3 star as described. Heater not functioning in winter. The people partying outside were really loud that we heard them the whole night and could not sleep as the room was facing the main road. Everything was fine and I would return however the shower door was completely broken and difficult to keep closed. Friendly staff. Dusty air-conditioner, no space for smokers. It's located next to a street which can be quite noisy at night. Nothing unbearable. The beds are not very comfy. But this could be our solo opinion. Street noise made us keep windows closed, so it was hot at night. Cigarette butts on the floor that were missed by the cleaners. Very small bathroom. The room was small, and the windows were open to other buildings (no view, and I had to close the curtain all the time for privacy). Too much street noise during the night. Room got too warm, no good air conditioning system. Elevator broken. Needed a spoon and a bowl in the room. The only thing that I didn't like was that the pillows were quite enormous and large bit this my personal preference. there was smoke smell in front of the room door. it was not related with hotel, the situation was because of other guess. The bathroom was not ok, there was a broken tile at its base. The building seems to be pretty old and the lift is so small. Its located next to the main street and sometimes noisy. I reserved a room with 2 single beds and I got a doble bed. (Like all toilets in Europe, there is no place to hold soap while you shower). It’s located on a rather busy road, so opening the windows was not really possible at night.
