the room was clean and quiet
the casino was very smoky smelling, so we went somewhere else to eat. There was no elevator, we had to drag our suitcases up two flights of stairs. There were no windows to open in our room.
We use to live in Elko for a short time and liked it alot. It's a great little town. We have stayed here before and it was great. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The restaurant there "JR's" is one of the best restaurants in town and they have the Best waitress, her name is Sami. She is very polite and is very in tune with her customers and work area. We always ask for her when we eat there. They are also pet friendly. We have 4 large dogs and they were all allowed with out question. The beds were comfy, there were extra pillows on the beds the rooms were clean, there were small microwaves and refrigerators in the room that worked excellent. The A/C and heater system worked good. They have med. sized flat screen tv's that were very nice.
The room key system has major issues. We were there only 2 nights visiting family and had to have our room keys reset and replaced 6 different times and was a little frustrating. The staff blamed it on the cold but we disagree with that. Other than that there were no real issues. occasionally while watching tv, the commercials were blacked out but there was sounds the whole time. We never said anything to the staff about this and it looked like the TV had been dropped on its corner. It was clearly damaged
