The inclusive breakfast had something for everyone. The pool and jacuzzi was great. Quiet location. Neutrogena complimentary products. The gym was clean and had lots of options for working out. Ample parking.
The beds werent that comfortable. Rules in the pool area werent followed by others.
Clean, inviting quiet and reasonably priced.
Bed was a little uncomfortable.
Staff was very friendly and he breakfast was excellent
Only hotel we found in Acadia National Park area open this early in the season (mid-April) with an indoor pool for the kids.
Worst breakfast we've experienced at any Hampton Inn. Definitely pre-cooked, frozen, and just reheated. Might have to do with this being the slow season at this particular location. Still better than any 'budget' motel free breakfast.
Excellent staff/breakfast and server at breakfast, clean facility, very comfortable bed.
No insulation under heat/ac unit, very very cold air came right in. Sensor over door turned off heat when there was no motion in the room- came back to 50 degree f room. No fan/vent in bathroom. Parking not very well plowed.
Loved the location, nice staff, breakfast, coffee/tea all day (soup during the week, room was quiet (with one exception - see what I didn't like), pool & whirlpool, room frig/microwave. All very convenient. The bed was comfortable too.
The one issue is the VERY loud heater/air conditioner in the rooms. When the fans come on you cannot hear the TV, conversations and I woke from sleep. When they are off, the room is cold. Too bad, because I did NOT get a good nights sleep for 4 nights.
I didn't know it was that far from Bangor.
Cleanliness most of all, especially the top covering. Breakfast was great. Staff was very helpful and kind, lots of smiles.
It was great - would like to have been a little closer to Bar Harbor, but it was fine.
