Riad Hala is located in the Batha district of Fez, and offers 6 Moorish style rooms and 2 suites overlooking the Medersa mosque in Morocco. The rooftop terrace has panoramic views of the medina. All of the rooms are furnished and styled after the traditional palaces of Fez. They all feature air conditioning and a TV.Breakfast is included in all room rates and Wi-Fi access is available in the hotel s public areas and is free of charge. The restaurant prepares traditional Moroccan cuisine and serves it in a pleasant dining area.
The Riad is inside the Medina, perfect to have a round of the ancient part of the city, the staff is very kind, and the breakfast is very good. The Riad is fantastic, with a marvellous maroccan style, and a beautiful terrace over the medina.
The room I get, the Suite Hala, is not a suite, is just a normal room for 2 person at the ground floor. was not nice to weak up with the noise of people outside the door having breakfast in the patio.
Really good rooms hidden away providing an oasis of calm
Too small for the toilet. It's not suitable and comfortable at all. Has a bad smell in toilet.
Fantastic location, great roof top terrace, good breakfast, not much to dislike about the place. Staff friendly and helpful.
Although in the Medina it was relatively easy to find by myself with a little assistance from a shopkeeper, room was lovely, comfortable bed and breakfast plentiful.
Bathroom needed a little tlc.
The staff, in particular the Marocan, was very helpfull and nice. Great flexibility to change our booking. The riad is very beautiful, but the rates do reflect that beauty.
Hospitality did not feel genuine > it felt like the 'manager' was trying to sell you guides, restaurants and other facilities for own benefit. The room we had was not suited for a stay, the bathroom smelt so bad that it made us feel sick. This complaint was already raised by the people who stayed the noght before, and the management clearly decided to move those people and to bring in a fesh couple. Value for money is poor, I guess many other (better) riads are available for half of the money.
Rooftop of the hotel has an amazing view over Meknes. Nice interior design, friendly staff, very convenient location if the goal of your stay is to enjoy Medina's life and shops, and still less than 2 min walk from bab boujloud, the medina entrance. Call hotel and ask staff to negotiate parking lot price for you and come pick you up.
Absolutely nothing to complain about, a hundred per cent enjoyement of a stay, worth congratulating.
Good location, right in the medina.
We stayed in a twin room which was moist. The room had low ceiling so we had to bend walking.
Location and clean are the best
WiFi didn't work at all and they didn't fix the problem.
Very friendly staff, nice and clean rooms in a typical moroccan house
a bit difficult to find but very well located
