In general our experience is that Morocco has better hospitality to offer than this hotel. We will come back to this beautiful country, but unfortunately Ryad Alya will not be our next hotel in Fez. Hotel management/owner was unfriendly and even accepatably rude to us in the presence of other guests, when complaints about no heating in the bathroom (november weather can be cold at nights), no hot water during daytime (?), sour and humid smell in room and bathroom (humidity?), breakfast service and dinner service were addressed and after 1 day, 2 days, 3 days left unanswered by the hotel management. Service : 0/10 because they don't understand how to receive guests in November it seems. 144EUR per night is not a cheap price for Fez.Too bad.
the staff were like a family away from home- very helpful and welcoming and accomodating
Helpful and attentive staff. Fabulous architectural detail. First class dining.
we enjoyed very much our stay in this riad. the staff (especially hatim!) was extremely friendly and helpful, the riad is a wonderful, beautiful place to stay. you really feel welcome here. during the stay I had my birthday and they made a special dessert and performed a birthdaysong for me!
We enjoyed the pastoral care of the hotel and the special attention of Hatim who gave us little discourses on the hotel, the medina and the culture.
Our room was a little awkward with the bathroom accessed internally up a narrow winding staircase.
It would be desirable to recommend having a rest not to reserve number offered in the lowest price category since the presented photos do not give representation about numbers. We with супрогой managed to change the unsuccessful choice for more expensive number. Remained are happy. As, on a site the wrong site of hotel that has forced to worry enough fairly by searches has been specified. The information is already corrected.
Excellent stay in this beautiful ryad! Personel was really helpfull and kind. Location perfect at the border of the medina.
An amazing place with excellent staff! The hotel is beautifull and we enjoyed every second of our stay there! Fantastic choice for some nights in Fez!
