Only a small double bed was in our room without having to spend extra for a king size bed. For two people it's much to small. We had a non smoking room & there was no odor that we've experienced at other places.It was close to Rt xxx. The price was a little more than other motels in the area but also cleaner than other places we've stopped at previously. Breakfast was included which was fairly good. Hard boiled eggs, cold cereal, danish, cold fruit in containers, coffee, tea & OJ. Coffee & juice available all night. Newspaper available at all times.
The staff was exceptionally friendly.
The room itself was a bit run down. The air conditioner was missing knobs, and would not get cold at all.The price was extremely low from Priceline. However, I expected Baymont to have higher standards in the rooms. The entire room seemed dated. The exception is that the television was new. We managed to get the air conditioner running, even with out the knobs. However, it never would put out cold air, which is really needed in the South Carolina humidity. The location is good, and new I-95, and several restaurants.
Very nice looking, clean lobby and building, room was clean and nice.
The room was very small and felt kind of cramped. The lobby was gorgeous, but also small.The hotel definitely met my expectations for the price. It was conveniently located, clean, and the staff was extremely nice. The lobby area was very appealing, and the free breakfast, while nothing out of the ordinary, was yummy and welcome. The only downside was size. Our room was small. The beds were normal size, but the rest of the space was...cramped. The space between the beds and the walls, the space between the door and the bed, everything. It wasn't bad, just smaller than expected. It didn't bother me much since we were only staying one night on a drive up I-95, but for anyone staying longer, this might be an issue. The lobby area where the breakfast was located was also small. There weren't enough tables to accommodate everyone wanting to eat, and the alcove where the food was l...
public areas were fine.
None smoking room smelled of smoke. room was in disrepair. the pack and play they gave us for a crib smelled of urineFine if you are traveling by yourself and are just looking for a place where you won't get knifed while you sleep. Other then that it was gross and smelled bad.
Hotel was clean, staff was indifferent. Only one chair in room for two people. When we asked for a second chair, we were told only one chair per room. When you sat at the foot of the bed, the head of the bed left the floor! We turned in at 9:30..
Someone tried to enter our room by drilling on the door. Then we were phoned by the desk to see who we were and if we were authorized to be in our room!WeWe would never stay in this hotel again.
The big comfy bed with the down comforter instead of those gross decorative bed covers was great.
The only negative part of our experience was the breakfast. It was pretty bad and inconsistent with the rest of our experience. We would have been better off getting breakfast at a fast food joint.If you are looking for an affordable, safe, and clean hotel off 95, then this is the place for you. I always dread staying in hotels off 95 while traveling (I have some serious germ issues), but I would stay at this Baymont hotel again. The room and the sheets were clean and the hotel uses down comforters instead of those terrible decorative bed covers that are never washed, so I felt comfortable in my room. The staff was very friendly and the location right off 95 near all of the restaurants makes it feel safe, especially if you are a woman traveling alone or with other women. The hotel was also family friendly and had a pool, which I did not use, but would...
Great value and very nice breakfast
Registration person is not that friendly.I highly recommend this place because the rates and accommodations are very good. I didn't find anything that is so terrible that I wouldn't want to come back here again if I pass through here.
The staff was really nice. We went down for the dental clinic, had to be at clinic at 6am. Turned the keys in that morning before going. Was out by 8:30 then come back at 1pm. They let us back in our room to rest till check out at noon.We would stay there again.
When checking in the staff was extremely helpful. The morning lady at breakfast was extremely helpful.
Too much noise. People outside my room very loud. Call front desk and the problem was not resolved. Only after I treated to call police that the people calmed down. There was a few coach roaches in the room also I saw a couple of small spiders.It was only OK. I do not think I will stay there again mainly because of the noise. The room was fairly comfortable but I did see some spiders and cock roaches. The majority of the staff was very helpful. The breakfast was just OK but the area where it was served was too small. One morning I refused to eat there because it was too crowded. When checking out of the motel the desk clerk made me wait while he finished smoking his cigarette and seemed a little bothered because I interrupted his smoke.
