Clean and updated and reasonably priced! Would stay again!
Structure, cleanliness, breakfast
Location. Friendly staff. Bed was comfy.
Bathroom was awful...needs a major overhaul!! Carpets could use a cleaning.
Newly Renovated, was like staying at a three plus star hotel for a one star price, especially since it's summer in Maine
Clean and comfortable. Good value. Close to Freeport shopping.
Noise from room doors shutting in corridor was very loud.
Location, ease of getting into town.
The room door stuck quite often. Breakfast started too late for me to participate.
Good service. Good breakfast. Clean room.
I like the location, the price, the staff. When there was a problem with the heat in the room it was handled immediately.
The bedding was VERY dirty. There was a big brown, nasty stain on the blanket under the coverlet.
There was a lot of dust behind the beds, table and dresser not enough access to electric outlets. Had to use car charger for cellphone. The halls were not vacuumed . Leaves at every entry. All halls smellled llike cigarettes. I found out if I bookeo
Quiet and easy to find. Close parking. Clean.
A little run down but not all that disturbing. Just an older property.
Could use more plugs for charging electronic devices
The hotel is under construction for updating. Our adjoining rooms were very nicely decorated, and had lots of space. We were very comfortable.
The front desk agent and the location. Perfectly between Brunswick and Portland with direct proximity to Freeport, ME. Easy to find and great parking.
No closet or Iron. TVs were slightly outdated.
convenient, well priced, great staff
gosh, those are small rooms
Was very clean and quiet. I liked that each bed had four pillows of different thickness so I was able to find one that adjusted well with my neck and sleeping position.
It's not a dislike, just an observation, the trim plate in the shower is not attached to the wall and the curtains in the room fall off the rod easily
It was fairly clean for it's price
Everything was old
Staff was very willing to help out with problems.
Complimentary breakfast had minimal choices.
Location was great
The heater did not work. We were given the room even though the staff knew there was a problem, but they moved us when we questioned them. The room was not cleaned very well each day.
Price wasn't bad. It was near town, quiet, acceptable.
Needed a little updating.
Cheapest available in Freeport. Allowed us to check in in the morning because there was an available room (not used the previous night).
Super disturbing - the front desk gave another guest a key to our room! My husband had just gotten out of the shower and was getting changed. Clickclick, an old man in a baseball hat swipes his room key, opens our door, and walks right into our room! BAD!
AtXXX a night, it was the cheapest in Freeport.
AtXXX it was not good value for the money. I would expect to payXXX max for that room elsewhere.
it was dark, over priced for the room which was small and very uncomfortable
The room was not ready when we got there, and we were there after check-in time. Not much selection for breakfast.
They had a decent breakfast but their eating area was very limited compared to the amount of people eating.
I liked the location and the motel was a decent value for the quality. Service was very good. The bed needs a new mattress. The price could be a little better. I have stayed there before and would again.
Hotel/motel is really basic and not very well cared for. We would not stay there again and its not very 'central' to things as advertised. Its more of a series of inexpensive structures that are more dormatory style than anything else and are loosely strung together with unlit outside walkways and awkward steps.
Room was rather small and dated. Certainly not maintained in what I would consider worthy of 3 stars. Whole place showed a lot of wear and tear from banged up doors and cabinetry to extreme amounts of dust inside the AC/heating unit and linens that looked very recycled.
There was a card table shoved between the beds presumably meant to be end tables, so you had to crawl out the bottom of the bed. Only one ice machine 200 yards from room. No fitted sheets on bed so the flat sheets pop out when you sit on bed and expose matress (ugh). The high speed internet did not reach my room, translated, the tightwad owner has the least expensive service possible. Weak breakfast was crowded into small room with three tables. Desk crew unresponsive to problems, obviously didn't care, only interested in making money.
Being very budget conscious, we wanted an inexpensive place to stay after coming into the Portland airport and before heading up to Eastport, Maine. But we didn't want to stay in a 'dump!' This was one of the most reasonably priced motels I could find online. The other budget motel had bad reviews, whereas this motel had a fairly good review. I was very pleased with the motel. It was clean and well maintained, the staff was very friendly, efficient and welcomed our late arrival. The room was clean and well-furnished, as was the bathroom. The room had a small fridge which allowed us to chill our water bottles for the next day's journey. The room was a bit small, but quite adequate. The continental breakfast was minimal - don't book the motel for the breakfast. I would definitely recommend this motel for the great value (especially when compared with other motel prices in the Portland and Freeport areas. Location was easy to get to.
We stayed at the Super 8. It was very convenient to the Freeport area. The rooms are clean. The beds are pretty comfortable, just wish there had been an extra blanket in the room. They have a decent sized minifridge in the room which was quite convenient. Excellent water pressure in the shower.
