Reservation online 10 minutes before we got there, literally! I booked and then drove down the Seawall...check in was easy, got in the room. Simple process. Like the mini fridge and microwave in the room. Comfortable. :)
The A/C was kinda "struggle-y"; hard to cool down, and even then it was sorta humid cold.
Large room, spacious bathroom
Had trouble checking in because I booked and paid thru kayak. There were 2 people ahead of me at checkin that we're having the same troubles.. After standing there for 15 min., the deck clerk was kinda sour after asking my confirmation number saying, "your the third person in a row with that same conf number beginning with an R and ours don't have that!" So she tried to look me up in their computer system and doesn't find me there either.. After showing her my confirmation email from kayak on my smart phone as proof I had reservations that were paid for, I ask what should I do?! She replies, I guess your gonna hafta call them.. This with the other 2 people she's having trouble with still standing there. Long story short, I get kayak on the phone and the desk clerk has my printed check in info there the entire time, she was just obviously to untrained to check that first!! Then I find out that breakfast isn't open untill 6am.. I am there on business.. I had to be to my job site by 6am. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was to get a decent quick breakfast before going to work.. Disappointing!! Also, there is only about 10 parking spaces in the front of the hotel. The rest are underneath, needing a room key to access the elevators up to your room.. The access key card wasn't working.. So you had to take the stairs.. Not a very safe feeling being a female traveling alone for work arriving at the hotel after dark!!
