The staff was friendly and the room was clean and had a great view. The pool, jacuzzi, and sauna made the trip worthwhile.
The staff didn't fix the issues we were having with our fridge and they couldn't figure out how to extend our checkout time.
Hotel and surroundings were beautiful. I booked this originally as a stop over between anchorage and Seward that would give me some time to rest and explore before my busy travel week. Unfortunately my original flight screwed us over and left without us so I ended up getting to the hotel at 3 am and leaving at 9 am. The drive down and the views from the hotel rooms and just around the hotel are amazing. Rooms were large bed was pretty comfortable and staff was very nice. I would definitely book again, hopefully next time I will actually get to enjoy the surroundings and try out the tram and do some hiking!
view from the room was great
had dinner at the restaurant and my meal was cold. I asked for cream with my coffee and was served low-fat milk instead. Room was dusty.
The price of the meals in the hotel. Also, there were very few options of meals near the hotel.
Very clean, nice and professional staff. Beautiful hotel!
location, viewing the beluga whales, boreal rainforest, sushi
dated, corporate style rooms, no good ways to view the stellar surrounds from: the room, restaurant, lobby, fitness center/spa/or pool
The a/c in the room was not working til it was fixed. Too hot too relax
The rooms and the view were first class
The rates were high.
It was very nice and the staff was very helpful and pleasant
Beautiful surroundings - excellent meals
the hotel room had all of the amenities of a full service hotel including coffee maker, and in room safe.
I thought the room was very dark and lighting in adequate and did not think there was anything provided to justify a "resort fee".
We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The facility is very beautiful. It was raining so we did not do much outside. The children we had with us enjoyed and pool. We did not eat there so cannot comment on any of the restaurants.
The only thing I did not like very well was that the 2 double beds were way too close to each other. More room should have be provided for 2 beds. There was only about a foot between them. It felt close. When I pay more than $200/night I expect a larger room.
Beautiful setting, comfortable room. Nice amenities. Reviews for this hotel don't give it justice. I thought it was a very nice place. Perhaps at $300 a night, a bit pricey, but nice overall. Don't recall if you do, but maybe for that price, you should add a free breakfast, or at least a free ride up the tram.
No, but I didn't have time to enjoy all the amenities of the hotel, including the restaurants because I was homesick and wanted to get home as quickly as possible. I stayed there one night after a week long Alaskan Gulf cruise.
The food and wait service was excellent, beds were comfortable and views breathtaking.
Being awakened at 6:00 a.m. by frightening fire alarm and exiting in pajamas into 10-15 degree weather........false fire alarm.
The staff was very courteous
the room was very small
everything including the pool, spa, and fitness room
Our view of the mountains with its fall colors was exceptional.
