It smelled of chemicals and the bathrooms only had couple bars of soap, towels and nothing more.It is exactly what you would expect to get from a motel. You go into the room to sleep and nothing more.
Location was okay. Neighborhood seemed okay.
No carpeting made it noisy. Lot of people in the hallways. Noisy. No incidentals (shampoo, etc.) available. Fan, heater, AC did not work. Wake up call was late and there was no alarm clock and little cell phone signal. A bit grimy. We had a first floor room. Due to no carpeting every noise in the 2nd floor room could be heard. People were having a party in the hallway and the front desk did nothing. Tried to turn on the fan to have white noise as a cover but the unit did not work. We travel every 2 weeks for competitions. This was the worst hotel we have stayed at in over 10 years. We did not get any sleep and we will not be back.
A clean room. Vending machines and laundry available. Nice AC.
Just coffee for breakfast.Motel 6 at Chicago North - Glenview offers good services for free parking, clean rooms, nice air conditioning, and convenient vending machines and laundry. Microwaves, fridges, and Wi-Fi are charged separately (like Wi-Fi for $2.99 a day). Staffs at the frontdesk are nice and patient, and there's free coffee served in the morning.
