Location and ambience
I thought the surroundings were very picturesque and peaceful. The room was very comfortable too.
I thought that there should have been a bar to sit at and have a relaxing drink. I found this very strange for a "hotel"
A cafe or a restaurant where you could get as cup of coffee, a drink or a small meal would have been nice. Now they only serve highly priced dinners and only on Saterdays.
location - small - luxury - no big run of the mill hotel - nice restaurant - setting
in this category what's really missing is a spa sauna swimming pool and ... access to the park (now mostly private)
Beautiful surroundings, calm and romantic. The renovation of the whole complex was done with lots of taste and love for the detail. Very good breakfast.
Though the dinner was delicious and prepared with fresh products, it was by far too expensive for what it was, including the price for a glass of wine, particulary when you compare it to what you get for the same price in a really good restaurant.
