This family run hotel may not be the most central in Grindelwald, but for the lover of the alpine countryside this is an advantage. The atmosphere is very friendly and the quality of the hotel rooms and public areas one of the highest in the area. This hotel comes highly recommended for groups and individuals. PL 0806 Though largely a modern building, the hotel is built in traditional chalet style with a wooden facade and colourful flower boxes. The hotel is located at the top end of Grindelwald about 15 mins walk from the centre of the village and the railway station. Its location affords particularly spectacular views of the Eiger.
