Pros:We found the staff to be amazing - friendly, helpful and efficient. They made me feel like family. The breakfast was good and the room overlooking the street was large, comfortable and tastefully decorated with a European touch. The restaurant had very good Vietnamese food.
Cons:Our first room was small and had no outside looking windows. Nothing can be done about this because of the nature of Hanoi buildings. I suggest a room with a window looking out on street or back. The bathroom had a cheap tub with shower. The tub was not installed properly so it is difficult to not get lots of water on the floor.
Pros:Nice breakfast. Had dinner at the restaurant too and it was surprisingly good.
Cons:More lighting in the bathroom.
Pros:Service was excellent - Monica was endlessly delightful. Breakfast was really good too. Room was quite large and TV selections were better than average. Bed was very comfortable.
Cons:Balcony rooms shouldn't be advertised as such - it's just a small ledge outside the window. Iron was delivered to our room with gunk on it and a hole in the ironing board cover - we had to clean it.
Pros:We stayed for several nights while in Vietnam for almost a month and absolutely loved this hotel. The location is perfect and the staff treated us like kings. We stayed in a suite the first night and added a second night on the spot because we loved it! The staff is exceptional and the breakfast buffet is outstanding as well! Loved everything about this hotel!
