Pros:Staff was extremely rude and not helpful in my situation. I was unaware of a $200 hold and the need to always use a credit card and not a debit card. I don’t use credit.Cons:The situation would have been resolved if the staff had been courteous and helpful. I understand the need to use credit, but I didn’t need to be made to feel the way that I did. I will never use Hertz again!Reviewed Jan 19 2019

The SUV was in perfect condition.Pros:The SUV was clean and full of gas. The people walked me thru the operation of the vehicle and reconfigured the seats for me. I had purchased insurance thru Kayak and it was accepted without question. Overall it was an excellent experience.Reviewed Nov 11 2018

Hertz car rentalPros:Pick up was easy. The drop of was somewhat difficult. It was a holiday and nobody was at the counter. The main problem was lack of parking space. The exterior of the car was not very clean.Cons:Lack of parking space at the time of drop off.Reviewed Jul 6 2017

Did not have the car I reserved. Had to go elsewhere.Pros:I can't think of anything good to say about the experience. Even getting a refund was a small hassle. The whole experience was like a bad version of a Seinfeld episode.Cons:I paid a premium for an upgraded SUV and they tried to give me something that was 50% smaller. The cars exterior and interior was filthy. It looked like the previous renter had been transporting their shedding pets as the seats were already stowed when the sales rep tried to talk me into taking it. Actually, he was quite apathetic about the whole situation and gave me a toll free number to call and cancel myself since I booked through Kayak.Reviewed Jul 1 2017
