No one was there when our flight arrived. We had to go to a different rental spot to figure everything out.
Pros:Loved that Hertz is right at the terminal. The price was not the lowest, but it was definitely not the highest. Easy checkout and checkin and the car was a pretty new car with only 1700 miles on it. Great job Hertz.

Cons:When I went to pick up the car, the Hertz agent told me there were no cars available for pick up and that there would be no cars available anytime soon, despite the fact that i had made a booking over 2 months prior. I had to return to the office every 30 mins for 3 hours to check availability because I had planned my trip around having a car. It wasn’t until 3 pm that a car finally became available. Not only did this waste multiple hours off of the first day of my trip, it was also extremely stressful to think that I may have had to forgo a number of bookings and plans that required me to have a car, so overall not a pleasant experience at all.
Pros:Before renting a car to San Juan, I tried several car rental places online and was shocked to see how much the cost was for a weeks rental at the airlines. Kayak helped me save $$$. I was able to rent a car at half the cost with no hidden fees. Never rent a car from the airline. Also, you can return the car to the airlines for a nominal fee of about $5.00 even if you rent from outside the facility. We rented from Hertz , and picked it up at the Marriott hotel and dropped it off at the airline. Wonderful experience. Thanks Kayak!
Pros:The car was clean and ready to go. And drop off was super easy.
Cons:Only thing is that it was really expensive to change the time of the return for just a few more hours
