Pros:Car was great and had great mpg. Clean and worked as expected.
Cons:We just finished our trip in Charleston. It's a beautiful city. We were pretty disappointed when I walked up to the hertz counter in the airport and they informed me that my rental location was 10miles from the airport. I'm sure this is mostly my fault for not googling the address before renting. This rental location was not convenient and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone traveling through Charleston airport. Separately, the wait time when I went to pickup and drop off was surprisingly pretty long. It took about 30 minutes to pick up the car and about 15 to drop it off. I think they were a little understaffed.
Pros:Car was nice, clean and good value for what we paid
Cons:We waited 90 minutes in line for our rental, when we dropped off they had no record of the rental and spent 30 minutes back in line
Cons:Dealer’s choice was not the best deal (had to upgrade from the smallest car, which was the dealers choice)
Pros:Beverly at the Charleston airport pick up location was great!! She was friendly, welcoming and fast and efficient. Excellent customer service.

Cons:The car stunk of cigarettes. I had to drive around with the windows open for the fist day.
Cons:We could not lock the car (rear left door always open therefore we could not secure the care). The same door would not open from the inside which was a hassle and safety issue. Will be seeking some compensation when we receive the Hertz evaluation Mark Van Brunt
