The bed was very comfortable, the toilet and bath were very nice. Staff was nice. During our visit it sounded like 3 people banging on our door yelling then ran away... The television was nice but the instructions to use the ps3 weren't clear, a suggestion would be to add more hot tubs bc the closest one to us was on the other side of the resort. The staff was kind enough to let us check out later, free of charge but have yet to here back about the refund for parking since we took and uber and did not park in or use the garge. Overall I look forward to staying again.
We could only find 2 hot tubs in the same area on other side of resort. Have more towels in each room. Give me a receipt or confirmation email that I was refunded for the parking I was charge for when at the beginning of our stay but ended up not using.
Was lovely and breath taking
Decent view, nice lobby, friendly staff
I requested a room with two beds and ocean view. We showed up to our rooms and there was a single King and we faced the mountains. They found us a room in another tower a lot further from the beach but the beach view was distorted by two other hotels and with a lot of noise pollution from the traffic on Ala Moana Blvd.
I enjoyed the shops and places to eat. The beach was clean and close. The Village was beautiful. The staff was excellent.
A bit explensive. Between the resort fee, taxes and parking it added about $130 for 2 days to my bill.
Big room, great view, right on the water, very close to plenty of restaurants and shopping.
Hate that resort fee, but they all have it.
Nice location and relaxing
The pool should stay open until midninght
Check-in had a very long wait and online check-in was useless.
Beach front, shops, location
I was in diamond head tower. 2 nights we did not have water running at all in the shower/bathroom.. It took the hotel hours and hours before we could take a shower
The location proximity to the beach
felt very crowded and overpriced. The beds in our room where worn out and saggy . The balcony was caged in and left you feeling like you where in a jail cell. Not happy with the $30 resort fee added to the bill'
The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and they went out of their way to offer assistance. The multiple pools, lagoon and close proximity to the ocean make it easy to enjoy the water. The Friday night fireworks and complimentary hors d'oeuvres at the Ali tower really make Hilton Hawaian stand out. We've stayed here several times and found it to be consistent.
There was some construction but it wasn't too disruptive. Also our room could have used some paint touched up in a few places.
The hotel amenities are amazing with many stores, coffee shops, pools and restaurants. It is on the best beachfront in Waikiki- many of the other hotels have only a small section of beach. The views are incredible. I liked that you can bring your own beach chairs and umbrellas rather than rent them daily.
There is no room service
Staff is not very friendly/knowledgeable. Overly expensive.
Comfortable room. Plenty to do on-site including dining, swimming (pools and beach), shopping and tour pick-up.
Our room had everything that you would expect: bed, balcony, clean linens. The pools were nice, dining facilities were adequate.
We paid $180 for a "Resort View" room. What we got was a "view" of a noisy construction site. My husband called the front desk and requested to switch rooms. The desk seemed moderately confused by this request (acted like they didn't know about the construction which was being done at the Hilton). We moved towers and half of our room keys didn't work the first time we accessed the room. The second time (five minutes after the first time), none of the keys worked. When we went down to the desk to get a new key, the staff member acted like it was our fault that the key wasn't working ("I know you put your key by your cell phone!" when we had simply set it on the nightstand while we unpacked our things). We were disappointed by the unprofessional dealings by the resort staff.
We wanted to get away for the weekend in our city so we stayed at the Hilton. They did not offer any specials for locals which was a little disappointing. The handicap elevator near the garage was broken which greatly affected our comings and goings from the car with a wheelchair and a stroller. The room was nice and quiet and clean but the elevators were hectic and small. The pool was nice, but I noticed trash and junk in the bushes. The lifeguards were good but they would yell "HEY, get down", from across the pool. I guess they had forgotten that the kids were also paying guests. Public pool lifeguards are more polite and quiet. It was not as relaxing as I had hoped and just because of the inconveniences and yelling and high traffic in the elevators.
Overcrowded, not enough staff, not enough pool space and seating for the amount of people the hotel houses, lots of construction, less than peaceful stay- glad we were only here one night
Hotel nice. Restaunts way over priced. Waffles for 17.00!!!!
The hilton showed I booked 2 rooms but only booked one. Made several calls to Kayak ... and several hours later ... finally they would let me check in but couldn't until Kayak fixed it. Nightmare dealing with this. Hours!
Lots to do, everything in one location,
VERY CROWDED, NOISY, NOISY NOISY! Could not get in any restaurant to eat dinner with a wait less than a few hours...most totally booked! Very impersonal!
