Accommodations were terrible...door didn't seal...dirty room.
Worked fine for location on this trip.
Found one bug.
Poor location, although updated poor remodeling job done, breakfast not what I expected, did not appreciate that my credit card number was written down on a piece of paper, was told that was policy due to past issues. Won't be back
FOR THE STAR LEVEL AND PRICE IT IS A RIPP OFF AND THE NON-SMOKING ROOM SMELLED LIKE A DEAD RAT
Fridge and microwave in room. Kingsize bed, free wi-fi.
Location was very industrial, lots of truckers stay here.
My whole purpose was to stay as near Texas Stadium as I could. The name of the Hotel is Days Inn Texas Stadium. It was right across from the OLD stadium. It cost me a $50.00 cab ride to the stadium and the same coming back. It was also a $40 ride from the airport to the motel. The room needed airing out badly it was super stale. We had to leave the door open for several hours to get the staleness out. It was a very bad experience.
The hotel was centrally located to all our activities. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Room was big and comfortable. Enjoyed the entire experience.
The room was clean and located right accross the street from the Cowboy's stadium. Nothing fancy... just the basics. The only bad thing was that it wasn't near any shopping, fast food or restaurants. This is a hotel for a guys weekend, not a trip with the wife.
I had 2 kind suite rooms reserved for the 18th to take my parents from Wyoming to the Dallas Cowboy's preseason game. Upon arriving at the hotel at 4:30 PM. the owner said he had given our rooms to someone else. We showed him we had a reservation and confirmation number. He then proceeded to to say that he was going to cancel our reservation. This hotel is within walking distance to the cowboy stadium. After arguing that we expected him to uphold his end of the contract, he finally gave us a double bed room for $* less. (which is a $* cheaper room). I will never stay here and hope they go bankrupt after the new Cowboy stadium opens. The owner does not honor reservations so be very weary making any advanced plans to stay at this hotel on game day, he will probably sell your room for more more money to the first person who comes in and is willing to pay for it. I am also writing an official letter to Day's Inn and the Irving chamber of commerce. Be very weary of the crooked ownership and management.
