First stay at a Sleep Inn. This location is very well maintained and the staff is very friendly and ready to assist. When I return to Killeen for any reason this is where I will stay.
The hotel is well maintained, with friendly staff and excellent rooms. I was highly impressed that the room was equipped with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Also the coffee maker is one that makes individual cups, so you need no worry about making a mess with a pot. It is very close to Ft. Hood, but far enough that you didn't feel like you were still on Post. Relaxing nights stay overall.
needed a room for one night and booked based on other recommendations.
We came back because I stayed in the hotel in March and loved it. We were disappointed this time. The double beds are not nearly as comfortable as the king size. Then the hot water ran out on the last day of our stay. Also we had very noisy neighbors the first night. It might have just been the room as we did not experience any of these issues when we stayed in March
We stayed here last year on a trip to see our Son at Fort Hood. This motel is a very short trip there. We are coming back in March, so I just booked us 3 nights. As others have stated, staff was great. Breakfast changes daily with a good variety of additional items such as cereals and fruits. Loved the big bathroom and the coffee maker. Room is just a little small meaning the walkway between the end of the beds and the desk area could be wider. But, there is ample desk space and I loved the fact that the closet has a real door on it. Big enough that we were able to hide our Christmas presents and extra clothing we were forced to bring since this stay happened after our Motor Home broke down. Microwave & fridge worked great! Shower pressure wonderful! Quiet and plenty of shopping around. I can't wait to go back and visit the H.E.B. which is in walking distance, but we'll drive because I'm sure I'll have things to bring back home with me. This will be a hotel that I'll continue to come back to as long as our Son is stationed at Fort Hood. Oh, and beds are super comfy, if not I wouldn't come back.
I've probably spent 20 nights here over the last year and this is far better than the 1 star travel website has given them. The rooms are spacious, the desk more than adequate for work or study. The lighting is very good. Of course the beds are an important part of a the hotel/motel experience and these are very comfortable. I've stayed in much more expensive ''luxury'' hotels where the beds weren't as comfortable. Breakfast varies daily. Ok some of it is a little too ''packaged'' but they always have eggs of some sort, meats, made to order waffles, juice, coffee, breads, yogurt and other offerings. All in all this place is a great value.
This is a comfortable place with a big bathroom, great bed, and all the amenities. Breakfast was good, better than the usual continental type.
very clean, beautiful, friendly staff, greatly enjoyed our stay
good clean hotel
This is a new hotel. Offers many amenities and a courteous staff. I highly recomment this hotel based upon my four day experience there.
