Excellent restaurant offering good food at a competitive rate.
we where close to the town
no tea or coffee facilities, or a bar, but on the whole not bad for the price
Clean comfortable hotel with a good kitchen, well located for the town's facilities
No tea or coffee facilities in the room
the hotel was close to the town and close to all the amenities. The breakfast was good. The shower was lovely and hot. Motorcycle friendly. BBC TV
Towels could have been changed daily. Tea facilities in the room would have been nice.
good enough, basic facilities but clean, if somewhat dated decor
So called double room consisted of 2 single beds pushed together ... staff are non English speaking.
Excellent food,comfortable rooms.
The fact that it was close to everything to be seen in La Roche.
It wasn't as clean as claimed on the site. I was confronted with a few spiders in the bathroom. The breakfast was not a "buffet" at all as claimed on the site. It was very simple.
The dinner was probably one of the best meals that I have ever had - it was amazing value too and was served with effeciency and charm. The room was OK and very clean.
The breakfeast, included in the cost was basic and the room only had a small bathroom area.
Excellent food - 6 course dinners included in half-board rate exceptionally good value (though nb. Breakfasts below average). Very convenient location right in the town centre.
Quite noisy (rooms face directly onto a street which is a main road in and out of the town). Room unattractive - dark, outdated 1960s/70s. Ensuite serviceable but shabby, with lavatory so small it could not be used with the door closed. Stairs steep, narrow, dark and rather shabby. No hotel car park - relies on on-street parking (rarely available) or public off-street 100m away.
