Close to the beach and city center, and very nice breakfast.
We have stayed at The Reina Isabel many times now and every time it is like coming home. The Staff always make a fuss of us and are so friendly. Luxury accomodation and service at a realistic price. We will return again and again. Yet again the breakfast buffet is the star.
Nice situation across from beach, free car parking in grounds, wonderful breakfast with breakfast cooking eggs, bacon to order, nice touch. I was amazed to see Champagne & Vodka was available on a serve yourself basis.
The staff were very nice and helpfull. We lost our paggage and they helped to get it from the Airport to the hotel. I loved the sewiev from 1st floor, because we had a marvellous nice own patio and the first floor there is parket floor in every room. The breakfast was magnificant! Everything was so fresh, particularry fruits and juice. You could also enjoy every morning sparklingwine wich was luxorious. We loved our holiday in Rheina Isabel.
This is not the first time we have stayed here. We were pleased to see no reduction in standards in any department. Particularly liked the free provision of wi-fi throughout the hotel and the availability of free parking on site. Breakfasts continue to be a culinary extravaganza.
There should be two armchairs in a double room, not just the one. The tv is very German orientated; only Eurosport (Recorded rubbish and unknown sports) and Sky News, in English. It should be possible to add bbc World,if not bbc 1&2 , and itv 1; all of which we get in Portugal.
Breakfast - Excellent clean-well-behaved service-excellent
Teievision in room -Poor
Pretty clean and organized hotel. Very good breakfast buffet.
To be fair to customers correct rating should be max 3 stars due to lack of services. Small rooms, not enough space to open suitcase except on bed. No nightclub or restaurant choices or any other services at the hotel. And the only bar serves diluted spirits:)
Wonderful breakfast buffet! Nice balcony with seaview, quiet although overlookong the promenade de la playa de las Canteras. Reina Isabel is the only hotel along the playa offering free beach hamacas and sombrillos for its guests.
A big bed (double?) occupies most of the space in single rooms. A bed for one person would make it much more comfortable to move around in the relative small room designed for one person. - And I think it is time for the worn carpet to be substituted by a new and fresh one!
Good location, variety of facilities, friendly staff
Caters for older clientelle, might not suit younger guests although no reason why not
Right on the beach, child friendly, great staff
Hotel caters mostly for older guests, but can easily cater for young families, glass tables and split levels in rooms were a difficulty for us, slightly dated fittings
