they have a party down in the bar that goes until 8am. you can hear it all night, but they turn the music UP at 4 am-- almost no one we met on our stay there slept well.
The furniture was broken. The room was decorated cheaply and was really dark and dingy. We were on the fourth floor and the noise from the night club was unbareable.I would not recommend this hotel for any reason.
Extra charge to bill.Very nice hotel, clean, everything in the hotel was enjoyably in a different surroundings. The staff were friendly and helpful. Beautiful pool area surrounded by palm & pine trees, with small gazebo areas to relax out of the sun. Only problem is that the hotel is charging over $11 a night above & beyond the priceline charge. Hotel staff informed us that priceline is aware of these charges, but have not made any changes.
Nothing to like.
very bad experience. Loud music was being played the whole night. Don't spoil your vacations. Management may reply to my review but I know nothing is gona change. Very very bad experience. Do not go.
Affordability, nice Decor,
Loud music at night, although I was aware of that by reading other reviews
The hotel was creepy. There was too many paintings and it was very dark. It was like a haunted mansion. Our taxi driver told us that the hotel was haunted. We went in and stayed in our room and didn't come out until we left each day. It seemed as if would have gotten drunk and walked the halls the pictures would have came alive. There was an all night party that you could hear from any room in the hotel.
The style of the hotel was my only reason for going and I was not disappointed. I love the gothic/romantic/ baroque feel, with beautiful sculptures and paintings that cover even the ceiling. I love that each room has art from specific a specific artist.
In some areas it's a bit run down in the rooms, a little bit of marking in the wake, broken tile.I will definitely be returning, I was a little upset that I was misguided to thinking it was on the strip, however it's only a short cab drive away and was thankful for being at a hotel that's. slightly less hectic then the strip. It was a small intimate area, so it wasn't too overwhelming. The Beauty of the hotel is what will bring my husband and i back, it is styled exactly how I dream I might decorate my house one day so it adds to the bliss of my little Vegas escape.
There was nothing I liked about this hotel.
Everything. This hotel was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Upon check-in we were never informed of the pool party that lasts until 4am. The music was so loud I thought the window was open. We didn't sleep at all. When we asked the staff if we could switch to a quieter room they said no. The description states the hotel is one block from the strip which is not true. We had a 10 minute drive everytime we wanted to go to the strip. The valet staff was rude, and expected a large tip everytime they walked 20 feet to get our car. The room was disgusting. There were stains all over the sheets and towels. Our air conditioner was broken. The room smelled old and dingy. Overall, this hotel was disgusting. With it being a 'swingers' hotel I felt like everywhere I walked I was going to catch some disease. Worst experience ever. I will never stay in this hotel again, and I recommend to find so...
The decor was interesting.
It was extremely loud. This is a party hotel, not a place to sleep. There was an after-hours party (which I now know they are known for) that lasted until 8am. The windows are single payne and do not keep noise out. This hotel is extremely loud. The rooms are old, the beds clearly worn out. The first thing we saw on the TV when we turned it on was hardcore penetration porn. This set the precedent for the rest of the night. An after-hours pool party started at 11p and lasted until 8a. There was no way to avoid this noise. Before that we were already dealing with the thumping and bumping of the nightclub in the lobby. I called the front desk and complained and they were very rude to me. They even claimed that I had been warned that there would be excessive noise throughout the night, which was a bold-faced lie. When there was no music blaring, we heard nothing but sex coming from all the rooms around us. The walls ...
The new girl (first day)working at the front desk and the friendly cleaning lady. They were interested in providing a positive guest experience, unlike nearly everyone else I encountered.
Aside from the ones mentioned above, everyone seems to be put out if you ask for something. Coffee was not available in the room so I went to the front desk. They sent me to the bar where I was told the restaurant was closed and to return laterFor the price I can't complain, the room was clean but not much else. I arrived at 10:00 PM and there was a massive party going on at the pool. Once I got to the room I discovered I could hear the party as if it were right outside my room. It Was. This lasted for about another hour and a half. If you plan on getting some rest, don't plan on escaping the noise until late. Although guests get valet parking with the room there isn't parking on the property. All parking is across the street in an open, unmonitored area...
