Good restaurants, facilities were clean throughout, room had great views and decor.
Off location from the main Vegas strip
They gave a room furthest away from the casino
I really enjoyed the complentary upgrade.. It made my first time in Vegas great
Nice and clean and very comfortable beds.
I was disappointed that I dint get a city view and they told me I did.
I liked that the balcony doors opened, provided great view. Restaurants were tasty. The pizza place was by far my favorite. Cool that it provides a shuttle to the strip. Front desk are very polite! Cleaning crew was awesome. The tub was huge like a mini hot tub lover it. Room was cute, nicely decorated.
Mile walk from strip. Shuttle drop off is behind shopping, very strange and sketchy. Shuttle doesn't have a cap on groups. There was a group of 20 people that took up the whole shuttle, then 5 other people were let on to stand. Get private transportation when you have that big of groups. Especially since the shuttle only travels on the hour. To get drinks while gambling the hotel puts a minimum amount played and minimum bet that has to be made. On Everthing including machines. No where on the strip have I had that problem. Bathroom door didn't lock or shut all the way. When it says view the include of the airport as one. Close to airport so you hear planes taking off and landing all the time. Basically, I'll never stay here again. But if you have a family and want to be off the strip go for it.
Tv was not functioning for two days and the bathroom tub was flooded. Also, we got falsely charge for ordering a movie and explained when checking out that we didn't even use the tv because it wasn't functioning. They were very hesitant to void the charges but they did. What we like was the 24/7 mr lucky diner.
The Hotel is situated on the strip and near the airport.
Management avoids responsibility for its own parking garage. Cameras and secueity exist everywhere yet the Hotel could not identify a vandal who broke my vehicle window nor did the hotel offer condolences. No policing and no understanding of the inconvenience to guests. Vehicles should be protected, in a city with so many homeless and an area with so many inebriated tourists.
The bed was so comfortable. Very clean and quite
When I arrive the frontdesk was pretty slow but the agent was able to accommodate my needs. He even upgraded my room at no charge.
We found an empty water bottle and lots of hair in the shower suggesting to us that whoever cleaned our room did a bad job.
The staff at the front desk are super nice even at 3am! Great views, cool tub
All the sinks had hair in it and the refrigerator didn't work.
We paid about $39 a night for two nights. They waved the $28 resort fee the first night for getting in so late. We were given a beautiful delux queen suite that blew my mind. It was the nicest room I've ever been in and so cheap! Of course it was the off season and only one small pool was open, but I definitely plan on coming back.
This definitely isn't a family friendly resort. The music blairs 24/7, even in the elevators. But I knew this prior to coming so this isn't really a complaint. Very nice place to stay during the warmer months because the 5 pools they have are incredible.
Stylish rooms. Culinary dropout's food and ambiance
No nightclub/nightlife, culinary dropout's poor customer service. Very rude waitstaff, minus one female with short brown hair and glasses.
Pool was good for it being late in the season. great atmosphere in the hotel for a 20's-40's...will stay again, but I'm putting up a fight about the extra charges. Food at Culinary Dropout was really great.
Charged extra for a pool view, and the view was of a pool that was shut down for the weekend, so not much to see. Tried to check in early, but had to wait around for 2.5 hours. ended up checking in an hour and a half before the standard 1pm check in time. Still got charged for early check in. That stung a little. Burrito at the pink taco was average at best, as was the pizza at the little pizza joint.
Probably not going to stay
Reception, guest engagement poor (need training).
Rock memorabilia. Friendliness of staff.
they close the pools randomly even on 90* days
I've stayed many times but usually in the HRH which is great. This was my first time in the Casino tower which is the oldest of all the towers. Room was fine, even if we got a bit ripped on the view overlooking the roof and parking. The only downer was the bathroom was in need of a remodel as it was quite dated. Otherwise, everything was awesome and it continues to be my default choice for a stay in LV.
Got a great price. Thanks to Kayak!!
It took an hour to get bags at check in
Walked into a dirty room, only to continue to notice more problems. There was a Bestbuy promotion going on in the Answorth. Bestbuy manager was rude, food was sub par. Had breakfast in the morning before checkout at Luck Seven's and everything on my plate was under cooked. I won't stay at this hotel again. Don't be intised by inexpensive rooms, there is a reason.
Staff and wall decor
The hotel charged $84 for "Resort" fee when Kayak contracted that expense to be $66. Making matters worse was that there is massive construction happening right smack in the middle of the Center Bar and main floor. Beware that the "Resort fee" does not include the good pool area, just the tired old "family pool" area. Also, the gym at a La Quinta is vastly superior to this tiny old crummy gym at this Hard Rock.
I like the party scene if I wasn't with my family....
I would not recommend this hotel. I should have read the yelp reviews. Customer service was horrible! As soon as I arrived the gentleman who was at the front desk was very rude because I had questions about the resort fees which were an additional $28 a night which I was not told about until the day I arrived. He said he was going to upgrade me to a view which did not happen. That's fine I don't need a view I don't plan on being in my room when I'm on vacation however, don't tell me you're going to do something if you are not. Later that night I went to wash my face and brush my teeth and the sink would not drain. I called housekeeping to ask them to come fix it and the lady said "are you in room 349? Yeah that always happens in that room". Then why would you make that room available? Why wouldn't it be fixed? Needless to say maintenance never came so I was forced to spit into the toilet to brush my teeth. I called next day to say that maintenance never came and a lady (Janice or Janet) continued to argue that my do not disturb sign was up, which it was not. I was looking right at the door to make sure I didn't put it up and she continued to argue with me. At this point I decided to go down to the front desk and speak to management. The girl at the concierge was very helpful and did help by reversing a couple of fees and upgrading my room. It was almost like she was used to these situations happening. She then told me that a bellboy would be on their way to help me up, they never showed. When I was checking out they only had two people helping out at the counter and a very long line. I had a shuttle picking me up and I had to be on time to. As soon as I walked up the guy said I'm actually switching and you'll be help in a a few moments. I asked the girl who was taking over if I should move over to the next available person because I had a shuttle that I had to make. She said "I don't really know it's up to you". Geez thanks for that friendly advice! It started horribly and ended horribly but at the end of the day I learned on never stay there again.
I've stayed here before and enjoyed the pool area. This time around I was on a business trip so couldn't enjoy the pool.
The entire center of the hotel is currently a construction zone, which would have been a good thing to know prior to booking. Our room smelled strongly of cheap cologne, which is usually an annoying feature of cheap hotels.
THE ROOM WAS VERY NICE. THE BED WAS COMFORTABLE. THE BLOW DRIER, AND IRON BOARD WERE IN THE RM AS REQUESTED.
WE WERE THERE FOR FOUR DAYS. WE WERE NEVER GIVEN MORE TOWELS EVEN WHEN REQUESTED. THE FIRST DAY I LEFT 2 BATH TOWELS ON FLOOR BRCAUSE THEY WERE DIRTY. NO NEW TOWELS WERE LEFT THE NEXT DAY. THE SECOND DAY I LEFT A NOTE ASKING FOR MORE. NONE WERE EVER SUPPLIED. IF THAT IS THE HARD ROCKS POLICY, THAT THE TOWELS ARE TO BE USED DURING YOUR ENTIRE STAY, THEN IT SHOULD BE TOLD TO THE CUSTOMER. ALSO SHEETS ON THE BED DID NOT GET CHANGED DAILY.
The woman at the HRH concierge desk was the best part about the casino. She was very friendly and helpful.
room not clean, not kid friendly (pool party right outside our window), luckys 24/7 terrible service/ rude waitress, knowing we had children with us, we should've stayed in the HRH, not the casino hotel. We didn't know. We just were stopping on our way to CA and got a cheap deal. Never again with kids. This is a place for 20somethings looking to party.
The room was nice and clean and we had a great view of the beautiful pool that was closed every day! The staff were very nice and tried to be very helpful.
There was construction going on, loud noise of jack hammers. The beautiful POOLS were closed and no one could give a reason why! The food there was so,so. You will need a taxi to visit the strip, taxi will cost around $15.00 each way no fault of the hotel. Yes there is a shuttle if you care to wait, it only runs every hour. Our sink had to be repaired, which they did take care of this problem.
I liked when I checked out they fixed the bill for charges that I did not purchase to be taken off the bill. I liked the fact there was a free shuttle to the fashion mall. I liked changing rooms to the 11th floor to look at a parking lot.
Checking into the hotel the room we reserved king bed, they no longer had available. So we went into two queens. The information from front desk was not clear nor were they very helpful for finding the elevator to the hotel room. They did not mention you have to put your key into elevator before pressing button to floor.difficult to do at 2am after 5 hour flight and a full day of working. This took a moment to figure out. Upon arrival into room, the carpet appeared dirty and not vacuumed. The remote to TV was missing a battery and TV av plugs were disconnected. The light next to bed looks like it was punched as there was a huge crack and hole in the shade. Now these things were livable. We called front desk and there was no answer, house keeping no answer, bell desk again no answer. Frustrated as I was my husband was just tired and wanted to go to sleep. After 20 min of no answers to any of our calls house keeping answered and apologizes. They brought the battery to discover the TV needed their electrician. Now it's 3am. I call front desk to make a formal complaint just to discover there are ngats (fruit flies) around the lights. I told the front desk and they comped the 28 dollar resort fee. Suggested that house keeping come and clean at 3 am! I was pissed they could have changed the room, or given us the 189 I paid for the room that night. Then the TV gets fixed by electrician. To discover it just needed to be plugged in behind the dresser that btw was covered in dust. I was charged on my account for missing items that were not in the room ie (candy, chips, ear phones etc.). After talking with the front desk I stated is be changing rooms the next day. I didn't like the attitude of most of the staff, they appeared to not like their jobs, was a chore for most to get a taxi, or to drive the shuttle. The adult pool has no free lawn chairs. You can rent a bed or a cabana for 200+ for this price I'd stay somewhere else and just come to visit this pool if this is the attraction. Lastly there is a ton of construction in this hotel where the front desk moved and the front of the hotel was closed. At no point were we notified this would happen. Highly, inconvienient as this is how you get information each day. As a whole experience at HRH not good would not stay here again. Not convenient at all to get to stop its over a mile and a half away. And shuttle only goes till 5. Taxi's add up so I think for the rock feel you don't have to stay but maybe visit.
They had some complementary offers and backstage passes for us. Room was okay, good bedding. We had a nice view of strip from our window. We could even see the pyramid from our window.
Room was too much dark. Even during day it was easy to miss things due to darkness. We thought it was on strip but it was couple of blocks away. They charge for minibar items even if you just pick them up. Didn't have coffee maker. Tv malfunctioned so I had to call the technician in the middle of the night. Some noise was coming from adjacent room at night.
Nice room for the price. Have looked at hard rock rooms often but they are usually to pricy. Got a great price on a 2 queen bed suite. Beds were very comfortable. Amazing bathroom. Nice livinroom area. Very nice staff.
Couch and carpets stained. Could smell cigarette smoke at times, from another room, in our non smoking room.
Almost every staff member my husband and I encountered was extremely rude! From the Valle to the front desk everyone needed a taste of unemployment for a while to appreciate the value of a job. The only person I enjoyed immensely was the room attendant(house keeping staff) who was very polite. We will not being staying here again nor will I be referring Anyone EVER!
- Good location. Close to the strip and the airport. - Good ambience and helpful staff - Self parking available - Separate family pool for people under 21. The pool was really good! - Helpful concierge
- Resort fee is overpriced. (You can only connect 2 devices to WiFi!) - Additional charges for everything - extra plates, glasses, all mostly all other things. - The AC didn't work for a one complete day in our room and we had to call engineering more than a couple of times before our room got changed. - No refunds in case you want an early checkout
Location is not that great considering it is not walking distance to the strip and the staff was a bit rude and abbrasive. I felt rushed or hurried through check-in and the clerk did not even give us directions to our room.
The hotel was in a great location for us. The value for the money was a real plus.
The rooms are decorated in black and dark red it made it very hard to see anything.
Nice décor with the rock and roll theme. Large sports book and lots of gambling options.
Rooms were too plain for it being a rock and roll hotel, and didn't feel that comfortable. Not that much in entertainment options either. The fitness area was also too small and located pretty far away, but I believe this was a temporary location for it.
The room was cheap for Vegas.
Check-in took forever as there were only 2 people working. The hallways were unclean. The room was basic. The pool was closed. And valet took forever.
Reserved a king room but was given a double queen
Staff was dismissive to complaints.
- Price ($34+resort fee) for a week night - Pink Taco restaurant (good food okay margarita) - Soft bed & pillows - Cool room decor (though quite dark) - Wireless included in resort fee - Friendly valet staff
-'Less-than' clean in my bathroom - Hair dryer repeatedly 'tripped'it's internal breaker wwhile using it (frustrating) - Only 1 of 5 elevators working the morning I left - Two lamps not working in room (made dark room even darker) - Away from the strip/can't just walk to a better casino
Nice and comfort bed.
It is not a 4 star hotel! It should be 3 star instead. Old outdated room. Worse experience in Vegas ever. Airplane noise kept us up all night long for our two-night stay. Complained and was told that's the way it is. We brought ear plugs but still couldn't sleep because of the noise.
I like the name.
The location is terrible and far off the strip. The diner gave my wife food poisoning and when we complained to the front desk they sent us to security, who didn't believe us. We felt discriminated against based on our age, and we are both 35 years old. Our room was very loud and had an odd smell to it.
