We had a recently remodeled room which was beautiful and clean... although there was no garbage can?
Except a "resort fee" upon check out... so if you're on a budget, add on another $10.
I was there for a conference. It's close to the Strip, and pretty cheap. The food at Ellis Island is pretty good, too. Everything in the room was functional, and shower got nice and hot (which is more than I can say about the nicer hotels on the Strip during peak season).
It's a bit on the older side. The security guard and three locks on the room doors did give the impression that they want their customers to feel safe -- take that as you will. The pool seemed to be in construction while I was there in the middle of summer. It is a pretty bare-bones room and "you get what you pay for," which was sufficient for my use.
Convenient location within walking distance to Bally's and Paris.
They were undergoing construction in the room next door to me so the noise in the early hours of the morning were really irritating.
The hotel had terrible service. It was disgusting. Never staying there again.
The bedroom is comfortable
Close to the lss vegas strip
Run down hotel. Ac is old and noisy. Staffs are rude.
All staff service
Everything was fine
Price, staff, comfortable bed.
Checking in was difficult and took a long time. Like 20 minutes + 30 min waiting for a room to be available. The staff said reservations made through Kayak don't show up on their system automatically and suggested using another reservation service.
Nothing. Really. The polite staff, just lied to my face the hole time. They would say one thing and then do another. It was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. And I travel a lot for work and pleasure.
Everything. Again a shit storm for a hotel, ran by incompetent staff. I don't like name calling so I will try not to. But wow. Just wow. I can't urge you enough to stay away from this place. Over charged no room service. Room was dirty when we checked in. Bmi room service for the four days we were there.
Only complaint was having to wait so long to check in to my room....check in was 4pm but my checkin was not available until 8pm :(
I still expected a higher level of cleanliness even though it was a cheap room.
Nice staff and location
The place stinks. Stayed there with a friend and we didn't have towels or hot water available for one of the nights. Had to call the front desk about 10 times to get someone to fix the hot water and about 30 times to get towels. The place is a mess. The bathroom is horrible.
Problems with check-in and reservations
Everthing else. 1. Dirty dated rooms. 2. Free breakfast is just namesake - Just bread and cornflakes that's all you will get. So dont fall for it.
The customer service rep was excellent, she went above and beyond her job to help me with my next reservation in St George, UT.
No fridge in the room?
Casino down stairs food great breakfast free
Room was very clean
Free breakfast staff could be nicer.
Location of hotel is niceley located. Easy access to the Fwy.FOOD!!, I must say for the price of the casino's large pizza was reasonably priced & tasted good.
Complementary breakfast is in need of some serious adjustments. We are not talking about a full blown spread but maybe consider some scrambled eggs & possible a waffle maker that I have seen at other hotels that are offering comp breakfast. Now let's talk about smoking. Smoking to me should be in the casino only or maybe invest in a better air system for the hotel to make it more of a family friendly facility.
First class sevice! Their airport shuttle is first class and very friendly and effecient service. Make sure you visit Ellis Island next door for their sirloin steak special. It is one of the best values on the strip! I Highly recommend!
The casino and food next door
Very run down for the price
The cafe right across the hotel.
The carpets were dusty. There were red ants in the room which will make you scratch your body. I will never recommend it to anyone to stay here.
The front end staff and reservations did try hard. Of course the location is quite good. And the free shuttle is a big plus. I would stay there again, as long as I was not paying full prices.
Whereas the room was clean, the halls and common areas smelled like a gym lockerroom. Don't count on the "free" breakfast as it was either gone before the closing 15 minutes or coffee machines were ALL broken.
Rooms were dated.
Ken at the front desk was really friendly, helpful, and accommodating. For $48 a night through Kayak we had a pool, a clean room, an attached casino with delicious pizza and $2 micro-brew beers, and an easy walk to the strip. I have no complaints about this hotel and only good things to say about our stay.
The room was a little dark, but really, if that's all I have to say, I probably shouldn't say anything at all!
The wifi and the air conditioning was okay. Some of the staff members where considerate, but some of the female staff members were checking me out and it was kind of creepy.
The fact that non of the staff members went to do anything about the guy smoking pot down the hall for like 4 days straight. The fact that non of the staff members ALSO didn't do anything about the loud music playing downstairs at certain times of the day. The fact that the staff members ALSO didn't ask the guys upstairs to keep the noise down when I requested it (they were having some kind of weird kinky sex). Lastly the housekeeping in the morning ignored my "PLEASE DO NOT DISTURB" sign and walked in while I was naked getting ready to go to the strip (no there was no knock and I wasn't playing music). I rate it a 1 star
I could walk to the strip.
Everything was okay.
Good location off the strip. Very nice staff. Inexpensive. Great AC and wifi.
A maintenance man let himself into our room (evidently some sort of miscommunication as to when we had checked in, so that was a tad discomforting. There were burn holes in the comforter, and the bathroom had some mildew/mold growing on the tiles and base of tub. The halls smelled like smoke.
Overall clean room. Smoke-free. Corridors smelled like tobacco. Otherwise comfortable 1 night stay and good price for 4th of July
The staff were nice and friendly. They know their job and respond to customers request professionally.
I don't like the way the staff people handled when I want to extend my stay for couple of days more. The were just discussing something behind and told me that the price is more than double to extend for just one day. There were just making advantage of the situation and increasing the prices. Also rooms and AC are not in a good condition. Stay away from Super8.
I like how it was good price.
It did not feel clean.
