The HELIOPARK Hotels & Alpentherme are centrally located in Leukerbad which is known as the largest thermal area of the Alps. On a height of 1.411 m surrounded by the Valais Alps it combines tradition and modern lifestyle. The HELIOPARK Hotels & Alpentherme consist of 3 buildings: the Grand Bain, the Maison Blanche (built 1625) as well as the Hotel de France (built 1845) which is located directly next to the main buildings. All buildings possess a long and interesting history.
The 135 rooms and suites are spread out between the three buildings and connected by an underground tunnel so that all facilities and the Walliser Alpentherme can be reached easily. The rooms are comfortably equipped either modern or in the typical local style of the area.
The hotels have their own wellness area with thermal indoor- and outdoor pool, sauna, steambath and grotto bath as well as a beautiful garden to relax. Directly next to the hotel the Walliser Alpentherme is situated with a wide variety of beauty- and wellness services.
The restaurant Masion Blanche offers you every morning a rich and tasty breakfast.
A culinary highlight is our restaurant Sacré Bon at the Hotel de France. It invites you with its warm atmosphere to enjoy the evening with traditional Valais meals or international creations from our chef.
The bar Grand Bain is the ideal place to end your day either in front of the chimney and with live piano music during winter season or on our terrace with an amazing view on the alps during summer season.
We offer numerous services as for example free Wifi at our hotel lobby and free luggage and parking service by our porter.
Leukerbad is easily accessible by car and train all year round. It is situated 16 km from the railway station in Leuk. You reach Leukerbad via bus which is driving every hour. From the bus station it is only a couple of hundred meters to the HELIOPARK Hotels & Alpentherme. We do offer a free shuttle service. There exists a good connection to the motorway A9 in direction of Martigny (35 km) as well as to the motor-rail terminal Goppenstein/Kandersteg (40 km).
The breakfast was outstanding!!!
The bathroom in our room should be renovated, especially the shower!
Very comfortable. Friendly staff. A bit expensive for what you get in terms of room etc, but not if you use the baths and pools which are a big bonus
In spite of our unusual group (grandmother, daughter and baby granddaughter!), we found our stay beautifully easy because of baby waggon access everywhere, in lifts, tunnels, baths, shopping, massages, meals, etc. Staff very friendly to us.
The access to the spa (swimmingpool, sauna...) directly in the hotel
The only thing is that I booked a double room but for a single person in the main building, and as finally I was located in another building (even if it was near the main one), I had to change for a single one.
location,spa and tranqulity
the room was old fashioned and we didnt have any toothbrush or paste etc
The hotel itself. Friendness, services, nice bufett...
The breakfast was magnificent.
The fact that the other hotels have free access to the spa, this hotel does not.
Very nice room, good service, good meals, convenient connection with the wellness centre via tunnel. It was easy & simpe to go to treatments in dressing gown.
