It was by far the best one-star hotel I've ever stayed in. Freshly remodeled and very clean with 3-star amenities
The continental breakfast and the breakfast area were very good. They were to best part of the stay.
The vending machines were horrible and most of them did not work properly. The halls and carpets were extremely dirty. I understand they are supposedly 'under construction' but I didn't see any construction going on. The pool was not open.I hope they do remodeling; they halls and rooms were pretty dingy. We went because they said they had a heated pool but the pool was closed and outside; however, I thought in June it would be open whether it was outside or not. They have a long way to go.
Great location and breakfast
Housekeeping never cleaned our room. Not sure if it was because we left the room at noon and the cleaning staff are gone by then, but we told the front desk and still no one came by.The hotel is in a great location near the highway and restaurants. When we went it was being renovated so it looked a little out of order but was still neat and tidy. Bed was great as well as the jacuzzi. We have stayed at this location many times and have always enjoyed it. Will be staying again. Great breakfast!
It was close to my destination and had everything I needed in it.
I didn't like that the pool was not available. My kids were looking forward to swimming and couldn't because it wasn't open yet. Also was disappointed that I was in Detroit but couldn't watch the Tigers or Red Wings games on TV because they didn't have itThe room was fine. It had everything we needed like a fridge, microwave, iron, and coffee maker. We were disappointed that the pool was not open yet for the season. The kids were expecting to go swimming and were a little upset that they couldn't. The continental breakfast was good and had a lot of options. The only thing I was really disappointed with was the fact that I was unable to watch the Tigers and Red Wings games because the hotel didn't offer that channel. Come on really?? I'm in a suburb of Detroit and I can't get Fox Sports Detroit to watch the games?? Ended up listening to the games on the crappy alarm clock radio in th...
The staff was friendly and helpful
The WiFi was not very good. I could not even download emails.Don't depend on the advertised WiFi for internet connection.
Beds were very uncomfortable.Of for a family for a night or two
Nice location across from the mall & other convenience stores.
