Good location - great access to tube and not far from Central London.
Disappointing breakfast - stack of white bread. Wifi very slow and only in lobby. Smelled of cigarette smoke. The bedroom facilities were basic to say the least - bed, toilet, sink, shower with poor water pressure and no shower curtain, so water spilled everywhere. The view out of the window was of what appeared to be a junk yard. I would recommend staying in a hostel over Central Park Hotel.
Quite central and clean hotel
The non-functioning lift was not repaired throughout the week we stayed there causing inconvenience to carry our luggage
it was well located for tube and bus. the staff were friendly, it was clean and comfortable and very well priced.
Great location for exploring London
The room had an odour to it, lots of mould in the bathroom.
Clean, comfortable room... Ideal for me
The washing machine next to my room which continued working late into the night
I was changed of reservation at the last minute to a kind of hotel far by bus and the room was very dirty : strong smell, not-working windows, sticky spots on table, toilets with pieces of poo and vomit inside in the basin and under the glasses, a big brown spot of the linen of bed, bathroom door very dirty, a full trashcan, no heating and the best : no water in the shower ! After demanding a new cleaning (sorry when I clean my own toilets, I clean up side down and whith something which looks like a sponge or a brush not with an handkerchief...) and 3 hours waiting for repair of the shower, I went back to the real Central Park Hotel et asked strongly for a real room. 20 minutes later, I had a room there, not very clean but I was fed up.
Easy access to the station and good value for the hotel fee.
It's a lttle difficult to find the parking.
Close to my conference venue good direction
Twin room has double bed not side table or lamp no carpet bread at breakfast had mould on it!My colleague had to herself another room.
Easy access to all amenity's no problem to find clean and very quite also very comfortable
No bad points to talk about
I am unable to report any good points at all.
Laminate flooring did not reach the skirting boards and there were screws and lots of dust in gap between flooring and skirting board. the floor was not clean, dark hairs scattered on floor, tiles in bathroom were filthy, curtains did not meet to close, no bedside lamps, sheets had holes in them and washed in stains on them, 1 pillow per bed and these were flat and appeared to be extremely old, l shaped room so only one occupant could view the tv, tv did not work properly, 3 channels and it repeatedly turned itself off, I was charged £5 for parking then told parking in that car park was free, Address not correctly given to inform sat nav. to use the toilet you had to sit under the sink, Breakfast was not served until 7.30am so we were unable to participate in this as we had to leave by 7.30am. All in all not an experience I would like to repeat.
The hotel was a close walk to the Finsbury Park Tube station. The walk to the Emirates stadium wasn't too bad either - since this was the primary purpose for our selection, we were satisfied that the hotel at least fulfilled this requirement.
In order to check into the Central Park Hotel, I had to walk through the back door, past the back car park, around the corner to the reception of another hotel. I paid there, got my receipt, then had to walk back to the reception of the Hotel that we had booked, to get our keys. Overall, not a long walk - but highly inconvenient and unusual. The elevator was broken, so we had to use the stairs. The staff members were incredibly rude. They would spend more time talking on the phone for personal matters than attending to the guests waiting at the counter for assistance. The shower had no glass door or even any curtains to stop the water from the hose-like showerhead from splashing all over the bathroom. There wasn't even a hook to hold the shower head up - one had to hold it the entire time.
