The Great Northern Hotel, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel is an impeccably reimagined grade-II listed Victorian landmark in the heart of central London. The world’s first great railway hotel endures today as one of the United Kingdom’s finest boutique hotels, beautifully restored to offer sanctuary to its guests with an abundance of timeless elegance and charm. Twenty-five metres from the Eurostar terminal and the spectacular King’s Cross Western Concourse, the hotel lies on the intersection of six London Underground lines and at the gateway to London’s exciting new cultural quarter. Guests can access Luton, Gatwick, and Heathrow airports via direct rail; Stansted and City airports via the Underground; and the rest of the country and Europe via rapid links. On the building’s upper five floors, 91 beautifully appointed rooms offer complete serenity by blending original classical features with a cool, contemporary style. Uninterrupted views across the strikingly remodelled King’s Cross and St Pancras stations add to their charm. Discover a new favourite or rediscover a classic amid a distinctive dining ambience. The hotel guides discerning travellers from day to night with a theatrical destination restaurant, two bars, and a hole-in-the-wall servery for legendary hand-carved hot-roast sandwiches.
Transparent washroom doors next to the bed removed the mystery from our relationship. And no, this isn't the sort of thing a manager's reply can eliminate from my memory. Frosted glass doesn't work miracles.
Clean - Great Staff - Close to train stations - kitchen area for guests was a GREAT added feature that we were not expecting. Thanks
