Cheap London hotel
Grubby place, needs a good clean. Worst apology for a breakfast i've ever been offered.
the breakfast lady 75 year old Peggy.
rooms had good items like fridge, etc. but beds and general room decore poor.
The location is good, tube station is a short walk, easy access to Camden Town and Central London. Staff was friendly, breakfast was good with excellent coffee.
The room we have stayed in should be painted, hoovered properly, and the curtains should be washed. Toilet flush didn't work properly.
There was nothing to like at all. It was a horrible experience and they definitely reflect poorly upon Booking.com as well.
There really was nothing to like. The room was absolutely filthy, the staff was utterly unhelpful and nothing at the hotel functioned in a professional manner. I would hope that noone stays there again. The buildings alone ought to be condemned
Suggest that the hotel identify themselves as accessible along the main road and near to the underground, namely, one bus stop from the underground station.
The kitchen staff were friendly. Good location. The breakfast was fairly good.
No one on reception when we arrived at 5pm, both doors locked and sign read hotel full. No note on door to tell us how we could get in , by chance met someone who said key was under the flower pot. One blanket on the bed not enough for an autumn evening. After a telephone calll and much persuasion a man came with an extra blanket and a curtain- as there was only one blanket to spare! Thick dust on skirting board. Tea ,coffee as was said was available.
The lady who served me breakfast on 5th September was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and tidy.
The man who checked me in on Saturday evening was very rude and off- hand. It initially appeared from his manner that there was some doubt as to whether I had actually successfully checked in online. When he saw that I had listed a vegetarian breakfast as a special requirement, he laughed scornfully. I asked "What's so funny?" And he apologised (not very sincerely), but he should not have laughed in the first place. There was also another couple waiting to be checked in and he was very rude to them as well. In addition, the room I was allocated was very close to the road and only had single glazing, so it was very difficult to sleep.
Staff very very friendly and could not have been more helpful and happy. They went out of their way with everything we asked for. First Class
Bedroom a little tired looking and may need 'perking up'
Warm welcome good breakfast nice view little touches. plenty of books.
