The Hallam Hotel is ideally situated in the heart of Central London adjacent to Broadcasting House home the BBC. It is a few minutes walk from Oxford Street and Regent Street two of London's most famous shopping areas. Regents Park The British Museum and Madame Tussauds are also within east reach. This is a traditional white stuccoed period building in keeping with the elegant buildings around it. The lobby area is small but very well furnished with comfortable leather sofas. The traditionally decorated rooms are medium in size and they all offer en-suite facilities in good condition as well as television radio hair dryer direct dial telephone mini-bar and complimentary tea and coffee facilities. Bathrooms are also in good condition. Although the hotel does not have a restaurant a full English breakfast is served in a lovely decorated breakfast room located in the basement.
convenience for purpose
not terribly friendly
There were no good points whatsoever
Everything was not working properly. The room was noisy, very cold as the central heating not working, there was no hot water in the shower, etc, etc
The location were really great, really close to Oxford Street, Regent Street and Leicester Square.
Our room was not good. The shower was unusable, it was dirty. It seems like the walls had not be cleaned for a long time. The hairdryer didn't work.
I thought that the hotel was functional, conveniently located for the west end and cheap.
The room was well worn but secure and at the price you can't have everything.
it' s close to city centre
The hotel rooms are very small with small windows and so quite hot. They are decorating and renovating part of the hotel and there is construction work being done outside the hotel so it's noisy during the day.
closeness to city centre
they were decorating and we had to move room. noise from construction outside and decorationg staff. poor quality room.
Location to Euston, 15mins walk, conference centre 5 mins walk & price in that area
Close to Oxford Circus
Breakfast was sparse
