Not a single thing.
The hotel was run down. Stains on the carpet, the walls in the hallways were kicked in at some points. Scuff and water stains throughout the hotel. Wore my sandles everywhere because of the condition of the floors. Only half the lights worked in the room. Electrical wires visible on broken fixtures. We looked up reviews for the hotel after we got there and found that they have an article online about a cease and desist order from the city to no longer allow people to stay in the hotel. Please do not stay in this hotel.
When we first got to the hotel there was a sign that said the pool and bar and restaurant was closed. I said why didn't they say that online on your website all they cool say was I don't know... So then I went on to ask where and when was the breakfast. The gentleman on the night shift (didn't arrive until 9) said he think it's 7-9 but he has no idea where it would be.. Next morning at 730 we looked around for the breakfast and still never found it. We went across the street to where the desk was and asked the lady where it was she said I honestly have no idea.. Our room had no phone no chain for the door ... I just felt almost I protective in this hotel.. We checked all the floors for an ice machine that worked and only 1 floor worked... None of the vending machines worked either... So when we went to check out Thursday morning I told the lasy about this and asked to speak to a manager she said there wasn't one but she would let her know everything that went on... No one ever even brought is towels... The worst hotel I have ever stayed in.
Room infested with wasps. Had to wait an hour to get another room. Never once heard they were sorry, but city was sold out, so didn't have a choice. No direction to room, employees way too casual and worried about eachother rather than customer. Manager was hitting in front desk clerk and laughing to me. In room, Air barely worked. TV was completely fuzzy and very limited channels. Very dirty, smelly and run down. Way to much money for the room! Breakfast an additional $9 if you wanted buffet.
The best part about this hotel was its location. It is right next to I65 and the airport. And although The airport is right behind it you don't notice the planes as much as I thought
The rooms are outdated and dirty. Stained carpets, broken windows, sagging mattresses and stained mildew smelling towels. And with the very thin walls you can hear everything going on both outside your room and in the rooms around yours. I think I would have slept better if I slept in my car.
Close to what I needed
Had to request a new room
It has a pool and fitness center which is a nice convenience for the price. Close to the airport and a few places to eat in the area.
It looks like they only callbthe cleaning ladies to come and tidy up before they expect a big crowd for a conference. The floors in the halls and elevators looked like they have not been vacuumed for weeks. The shower drain was so clogged yo had to stand in dirty water.
Staff friendly and very helpful
