This is a simple, no nonsense hotel for travellers on a budget for whom location and basic comfort are more important than frills and as such comes highly recommended. As a general note, check in is not possible directly at the hotel before 17:00. Anyone arriving before this time and wishing to check in needs to go to the hotel Monopol by the train station (it's sister hotel). PL 09/07 This is a traditional building, blending in with its neighbours. This hotel is located on a fairly quiet side street right in the centre of Lucerne. The railway station is a couple of minutes walk away as is the picturesque old town.
