clean and quiet
internet did not work
Staff was excellent and helpful. All polite. Room always clean and restocked.
Way too noisy. Both Highway noise and hallway noise past what I'm used to at most upper level hotels. I realize tough to control but made a tough stay when for a week. Hornets inside the pool area and my grand kids allergic to stings.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating
We had a towel that was dirty.
Friendliness of staff
Bed was very comfortable
Room outdated for 3 stars. Housekeeping knocked on door and yelled at 8:52 am then attempted to enter. Knocked again before 10 am.
The front desk staff were very helpful!
no breakfast buffet.
It was all good.
location off freeway
The hotel was in a great location, right in between of the shopping areas and the downtown/ lake area.
The decor seemed to be a bit dated. The lighting in the hallway made it seem dingy when it really wasn't.
I liked that the staff was friendly and the place was clean. Plus, kids eat free.
The pool was nice for adults but not ideal for a 3.5 year old as the shallowest spot was 4 feet with no stairs or anything for my son to sit on and splash. We still had fun, but I would have brought his life jacket or a floaty had I known it was so deep.
The big pool and hot tub.
The elevators were slooooow.
Very nice staff - clean room
hallway carpets stained AND dirty - desperately needed vacuumming and cleaning - on Wednesday night the entire hotel smelled very strongly of greasy, bad, chinese food - elevator was VERY clunky
We did not like anything. We were charged extra for things we are not even responsible for. This hotel clearly just tries to rip off its guests for as much money as possible. Also, the beds were not comfortable and the room was not very clean.
The beds were like sleeping on bricks. Another room broke our chain lock on the door, and we were charged for it even after explaining to the front desk that it was not our fault. They also charged us extra claiming someone 'peed the bed' when no one did.
friendly staff and good location.
Too expensive for an average hotel. For that price we will stay at comfort inn next time. Also, there was a band or something below our room until midnight, which got a little annoying. Decent hotel but not worth the money.
Pool area and pets are allowed
---$ a night if you don't find a deal
Updated and location was easy to get to. Nice pool area.
Wasn't as clean as I would expect. Attempted to use the sauna but there were ants all over the floor. Only reason I would not stay here again is because I prefer a hotel that has free breakfast.
No continental breakfast. Loud groups of teenagers in hallway.
It had the basics.
The beds, the layout of the room.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Also liked the verbina-scented soap and shampoo.
Pillows, though plentiful, all seemed to be the same - overstuffed and too firm for my liking. Have stayed at hotels that provided a variety and thought that was smart.
Hotel was old and dingy. It wasn't in town. Not close to any real good. Next time I'll just choose a clean motel
Hallways and elevator were older and not particularly clean.
The room was large and had all of the basic needs you would expect. Very nice staff.
Dated, but they've done a good job in making it appear updated.
rooms too small.Older layout not consistent with todays modern room layouts. 3 star is stretching the rating.
Comfortable and in a good location
No. It was comfortably average and met our expectations. Nothing special but nothing wrong.
It was very easy to find!
It could've been cleaner and the smell was sort of funky. The beds were very uncomfortable. We used the stairs (we were located on the 2nd floor) and we were ALWAYS in the way of the cleaning staff no matter the time of day.
Location to where i was working.
Beds were very uncomfortable...worst bed i ever slept on in a Holiday Inn. Bathroom ceiling had mold and wall paper coming off of wall. I will never stay at this hotel again or recommend it.
Convenient location, you know what you're getting. They seem to be pet friendly (albeit at $25 per pet per day).
I forgot that continental breakfast wasn't included. I could have sworn I was to have 2 queen beds in the room but there was only 1 (what seemed to be a full) bed. They did have a cot available.
The door key system did not work upon arriving at the room. I went to the front desk and had to wait in a line of four. The front desk staff sent someone up to let me into the room, but they had probs getting the lock to work, and never repaired it.
Manager, front desk staff and housekeeping were very pleasant.
The staff in the restaurant and lounge were very grumpy. :(
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
It was hard to get in and out of parking lot. Public spaces were dark and uninviting. Older property with narrow hallways. First room had a very loud noise in the ceiling. They moved us to another room with a lot of traffic noise.
Both the bathroom ventilation system and the air conditioning system were very noisy. We complained and the receptionist added points to our Priority Card. We should have changed rooms immediately.
This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The staff was great and full of energy. I will stay there again on my next trip up north.
Stayed at this hotel during the week on business and returned with my family two weeks later. A place that offers everything for everyone. Staff was incredible. At our service within a moments notice. Felt like home.
