Dinne and breakfast buffets were OK. Good with pool and a playground. There was a parking spot with each apartment, just outside the door.
The showers in the pool area looked like they hadn't ever been cleaned, the floor was covered with a thick layer of algae. Our room was not very clean when we arrived, and we even found cockroaches in the room. The entire hotel felt old and tired, like nobody cared about details.
The breakfast was good. Free parking. Quiet location. Large swimming pool. Free WiFi in the lobby. Kitchenette in the annex was roomy.
Not much to like about this hotel. Booked a kitchenette but was given a standard double room on arrival. Discovered the room was filled with huge mosquitoes. Complained to the desk, and did get a kitchenette but discovered it contained no kitchen utensils or cookery. Took 2 hours to be delivered after 2 more trips to the front desk to complain. Hotel is an older palazzo which has definitely seen better days. The 2 rooms we saw were tired and run-down. Pool was dirty and the grounds not well-kept. WiFi is available but only in the lobby. The front desk staff seemed disorganized and incompetent. Despite the name, it's a good 300+ meter walk to get to the beach. We stayed only one night and would never go back.
They called a taxi for us to leave
Everything was closed down and delapidated. It reminded us of the shining.
Room was very clean, aircon was acceptable noise and temp level, pool was good size and clean, and nice sandy beach with clear water and hotel had its own loungers and parasols
Had to wear swimming caps in the pool, and they did not provide beach towels which would have been nice. Also opening hours of pool could be extended.
Myself and my partner had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay at the hotel, the rooms where very nice and comforatable and cleaned every day, the pool was excellent (although a swimming cap is required) and the beach was beautiful. We enjoyed the buffet and breakfast and the restraunt on the beach was lovely and non-expensive.
As we only had a few words in Italian communicating was a little tricky at times , this is a hotel popular with Italian families and all the excursions and entertainment catered only for them. I would recommened renting a car for anyone wishing to explore the region. Also on arrival they offer you a club card which entitles you to free water and wine at dinner and loungers and parasol on the beach and pool area this costs 30 euro per person.
