The jacuzzi tub didn't work, the fold out flipped up when someone laid on the bed the partition wall trim fell off, there was French fries and trash under the edge of the bed, no Kleenex in the holder, no toilet paper on the holder
Room was unclean.I had to be reassigned my room because the first room assigned still had a guest. Then the second room I was assigned had not been cleaned properly, and the bed was unmade. The maid staff was unavailable, so the desk clerk had to come up and make my bed. The room reeked of tobacco smoke; smelled like cigar. I did not want to complain for my trip was to visit a dear friend who is dying from cancer, and he had just begun Hospice care. The staff was very nice and accommodating, however, it was not the best of 'stays'; to say the least.
The location. It met all our needs for meals and lodging.A wide variety of foods within walking distance. Easy on and off Interstate I40. The only downside was the pool. It does not open until June 1st.
i usually don't stay @Quality Inn (have found them usually less than Quality), however this one was just redone and was clean and well managed.
