Desk woke me at 1:30 a.m. About mystery complaint! Staff should investigate BEFORE waking up customers! Couldn't sleep afterwards! I won't be back!
Location and price
Bathroom faucet was old and the water was not good.
Location of the pool
Suze of room and bathroom, did not attempt to give clean towels
in need of numerous repairs
the room looked well maintained overall. The carpet was in excellent condition.
Accessing the location from gps directions was so frustrating!
It was inexpensive
The room heater blew tepid or even slightly cold air and the temp outside was at around 18 F outside. I don't think those crappy heatpump/air conditioners can adequately heat the room on a very cold night. We had to hunker down double blankets.

the staff was helpful
it was very dated and appears it had alot transit living and the room smelled of heavy smoke
No water to take a shower, water Pressure went to zero while I was taking a shower without warning. Barely able to get the shampoo out of my hair under a trickle of water. Sink faucet barely reached the edge of the bowl. No coffee maker in room or on pr
Just off the highway and easy access. Safe area to stay as well.
No snack machine for microwave popcorn but could have went down to the convenience store if I wanted to.
Wifi, microwave, and refrigerator access.
I signed up for a non-smoking room, but the room was quite smoky.
This hotel was very small, quiet and close to the highway. Just what I needed to get some work done. They allowed me t check in early as I had arrived in town sooner than expected. I appreciated that.
The only thing that could have enhanced my stay is having a small workout room. Otherwise, fine.
the location was fine.
the continental breakfest was a joke. As also it being served no earlier than 7AM.Also the office not being staffed at night or in the AM.The shower head fewll off the first night we stayed, luckily we had our own tools along to fix it.
Dirtiest motel I have ever stayed at! Desk chair had the worst stains ever. Refused to use the alarm clock for all the filth on it. Rugs stained and falling apart. Door locks had been broken into before and not fixed properly. Room stunk soooooooo bad. If my car was not full of stuff I would have slept in it. No other rooms available in the area so I was stuck. Plus right next to the Gettysburg Pike, literally a 100 yards, could hear every car let alone truck. Do not stay HERE!
My stay was four nights long and everything seemed more then satisfactory. This is a basic Econolodge probably originally built in the '70's. It is just a short drive off Route 15 and was perfectly placed for my needs. The rooms and bathrooms were recently renovated and both were very clean. The rooms do not have the claustrophobic feel and there was plenty of room to move around. There is an available outdoor pool that I used twice. Breakfast is your basic continental with coffee, juice, bagels, muffins but it does the job. If you need a good decent place without the frills at an excellent budget price I would recommend staying here.
A few years ago we started staying here whenever we went to nearby Grantham to visit our daughter at Messiah College. It's quite close and very convenient to Messiah, and the least expensive option in the area. This hotel is almost right on route 15, so you will prob. hear some traffic/noise at times, but the newly remodeled rooms have brought the Econolodge into an ENTIRELY new era! They are clean, efficient and very comfortably updated. The lovely family at the front desk is helpful and accommodating, always ready to please. If you are looking for a pool and all the perks, you'd have to stay elsewhere and pay 3 times the price. If you just want to see your college student, go shopping/visit Harrisburg, this is a fine place to do so quite happily \nand on a budget. :-) Would we stay here again? SURE! We're booking another room this week, even though our daughter has already graduated...We know a GOOD THING when we've found it! :-) See you all again real SOON!!
Its close to Hershey park and at a great price.
stinks of curry, rude, dirty place, cost to much as well
