Thermae Boetfort is a 400-year old castle domain which offers elegant yet rustic rooms, both inside (superior & deluxe) as well as outside (classic) of the castle domain. Rooms come with free Wi-Fi and for an additional fee you can use extensive wellness facilities which includes saunas, spa baths and an outdoor pool. Flat-screen cable TV and tea and coffee making facilities are provided as standard in the rooms at Thermae Boetfort Hotel. They also include a bathroom with a bath or a shower and a separate toilet. At the restaurant guests can enjoy modern international cuisine in the grand dining room which has an open fire or on the terrace in warmer months. The drinks menu includes a range of wines and cocktails as well as home-brewed beer. Pros:This is a difficult review to write. If you are looking for a romantic weekend getaway, you will love this place. The room was large and had exposed beams. The area is quiet.
Cons:However, if you are looking for a business hotel near the airport, please be aware that this place looks like it is next to the airport, and shows up as one of the closest places, when in fact, it is next to a restricted part of the airport that you can't pass through. There is NO airport shuttle and it is going to cost you EUR 15 or so to get there because you need to travel all the way around the whole airport area, the same price you would pay to go into the city center! The web site has a section called "Business Hotel" which is a little misleading. There is no shower in the room, just an old-fashioned bathtub. The Internet does not work well in the room unless you are next to the door, therefore you can't sit at the desk. I wanted a quick overnight since I was arriving late at the airport. In the end, I could have stayed in the city center for the same price (or less). P.s. here is the response I received by email when I asked whether there was a shuttle: "We don't have an airport shuttle service. I'm sorry but we can not help you with this." Pretty nice, huh?
Pros:Nice room, excellent breakfast, helpful and friendly staff. The spa was very nice and worth the additional cost.
Cons:The actual hotel is separate from the castle and the spa and a bit of a walk.
