Friendly staff, clean rooms, quiet
Room let in too much outside light. Odd location
All staff and security were cordial and helpful.
The only thing I noticed that could use attention was the floor tile in the bathroom; some grout was missing.
Decent location and very clean for the price.
The staff are terrible and have no idea what they are doing, very unprofessional and charged me twice.
Air conditioner was not working correctly. Pool was cold for an indoor pool.
Decent Breakfast....more than just a continental
No, All was fine. The only very very minor negative was that the pool was very shallow.....4 feet max.
The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.
When I got there, the elevator was not working. I realize that things happen and are out of their control, so it was not a big deal, just an inconvenience. I had to carry my very heavy luggage to my room on the third floor.
The room I was in must have been beside a mechanical room, late that night you could hear pipes rattling and pumps going off and on.
The staff understood that I needed a few extra hours before checking out and they extended my stay to accommodate my schedule without extra charge or hassle. Because of that, I will look Fairfield up for my next stay around the US.
A few ants in the bathroom. no big deal
Desk staff was super friendly, breakfast was the best I've had in a long time!
the staff was excellent. breakfast buffet was very good and lots of choices. there were 8 good restaurants within walking distance
walls were thin and noise from the floor above was a problem
The fact that I had somewhat of a bed to sleep in.
Everything. I had wanted to stay in the Hampton Inn in Mesquite, but your lousy website made it so that it was confusing and automatically kicked me over to stay in this hotel. It was a week of discomfort. Their food sucked, and the staff were unfriendly
Beds were very comfortable
highway traffic noise
Close to alot of nice places to eat and the mall is close. Good place to stay if having to attend Baylor for testing.
I could hear noise from the other room. Bumping the wall and talking. It stopped around 10:30 but my husband and I are early sleepers and early risers so this was a little uncomfortable.
If you would like to park your car at Fairfield and just walk to get something to eat from a variety of restuarants, this is the place for you. I think you get more banf for your buck. They have done some really nice renovations to this place.
This Fairfield is sadly run-down and needs a re-do. The first room I was assigned had a non-operating A/C. There was only one other room available and I took it; very loud and barely blowing A/C. Outside temp was in the 40's and it was around 80deg in my room. Smelly pillows, small, non-flat-screen TV, phone that only worked half the time. I stay at a lot of Marriott properties and this was the weakest I've seen in a long time. Cut my stay short to go to the Fairfield/Shreveport, which is excellent.
My experience here included;\n1. A maid took change off of the dresser and then claimed she thought it was a tip.\n2. My car was broken into in the parking lot. The staff were completely apathetic and all they did was offer to let me use their phone to call the police.\n3. The USA Today daily paper was missed for several days.\n4. No hot breakfast - food service is mediocre.\n\nThe manager responded appropriately but the damage has been done. My opinion of Marriott in general has been damaged by this one property.\n\nThe manager asked me to give the property another chance in the future. I emailed him last week offering to do so. He never had the courtesy to respond. I'm done with Marriott.
Clean rooms. Good service. Good breakfast. Very good price. What more can I say. Hotel is located very close to nice eating establishments. I would NOT hesitate to stay here again.
