easy walk to the beach, but be prepared to pay for parking in front of the hotel 8AM to 6PM. quaint and cozy, but could use some upgrading to the rooms, especially the bathroom and shower

The hotel had a great location as far as being right off the beach! Our room was clean and comfortable and the price was great! The front desk people were very nice and helpful! The only down side to the hotel was the restaurant/bar that was downstairs. People were drunk and crazy all night long and the restaurant service was not very good at all because even the servers were drinking! Luckily our room was very sound proof and we could not hear the loud music and partying from our room. Other than that I thought the hotel was very nice and clean and just what we were looking for!

this hotel should not be a part of the DAYS INN chain ... it is small ,beds are old , and no way shape or form should this be CLASSIFIDE as a hotel .... maybe in as a run down fixer-upper but not a HOTEL.....the same street has two closed and rundown hotels on it with stray cats all over the place..

After having arrived a few hours early before check in time allowed I explained to the front desk I had flown in on a super early flight and was early as one could imagine. The handsome fellow whose name I did not get told me to standby while he did some digging around. After ten minutes he returned and upgrade my room for free and got me in to a room four hours early! I was most pleased with this result. The rest of the staff were polite and helpful. I was most pleased to see that after coming in form the beach they did not complain about us tracking in sand.

Hubby and I took a 3 day trip to Miami for our aniversary. We just needed a cheap hotel to sleep and shower in and this one was perfect. The location was perfect - on the beach! It's north of all the crowds which is perfect...nice and quite. We hung out on the beach most of the day and only came back to the room to shower and go back out for dinner/drinks in south beach. The hotel also gives you free beach towels and chairs! They also have a small bar that serves food and has tables outside on the patio. This is not a 5 star hotel...just a little hotel to sleep/shower and save $. Hotel does charge resort fee and you have to pay for parking from 8 am to 6 pm...but that's EVERYWHERE in Miami beach.

Convenient to area where I needed to be. Easy to get back and forth and also was able to add time if I needed.

I came back already twice to this place in Miami. It is in a great location if you are a little familiar with Miami, or have a car. Is far from the noise of South Beach Ocean Drive, but about 20 minutes or less driving south on Collins Ave to get there. The hotel its got an okay star... 3 stars hotel, old but in good shape, rooms if you were in the Art deco area... kind of like you would expect for a 1970 installation, but good enough to just sleep. It is close to many Argentinian shops in the area of Collins Ave and 73 St. Also you have the new walkway that takes you all the way to Ocean Drive... not walking distance but if you ride a bike I cannot think of a better place, the beach there is a lot better than in south beach, quite... cleaner, better. I recommend this hotel because of mainly location (sometimes they shoot Burn Notice TV show episodes right there), beaches... and as I said before... if you have a car and a map is the ideal area to be in Miami without spending tons of mo...

I guess that you get what you pay for. I was trying to save money on a last minute trip. The bed is not very comfortable, but the room is clean. The staff has been nice enough. The parking situation is very odd. We have been told that we can park in pay parking but we have to put money in the machine @ 6 am. So we have to set our alarm for 6 am? That's really weird. Also, by the way there is no 'discounted breakfast' available. There is a restaurant on premises that serves breakfast, but no discount.

this Hotel requires an additional fee of 17.90 for 'services', and these services are the microwave and refrigerator already in the room. This is a noisy hotel where people like to slam their doors late at night. We had booked 3 months in advance and were hoping for a window view. Disappointed at that and the staff could not give us a good reason or tell us how to book in the future to receive an ocean view.

I was not impressed with this hotel at all. Apon arriving at the hotel the desk clerk was on the phone making a personal call and was not polite to us at all. He informed us that it would be another 2 hours before our room was ready and this was fine with us however it was more than 5 hours before our room was ready. They also charge extra fees that they do not tell you about ahead of time such as a resort fee, fridge fee, microwave fee, safe fee, etc. The doors to the rooms did not close properly and you could see under them easily. All we heard all day and night while we were there was doors slamming and people talking both in the halls and through the walls.
