swimming pool is in the other small hotel, no microwave in the rooms. spa is expensive. limited restaurants on weekdays.
We have not stayed at a casino before, but this seemed like the nicest, pretty much affordable hotel in the area. We had two rooms, one for our daughter and granddaughters, and one for my wife and myself. The hotel overall turned out to be very decent. The location is close enough to the beach, the zoo and restaurants. The rooms were clean and not worn out at all, and we were in the older section (not the newer tower). It was relatively quiet. The AC in my daughter's room made a squeaking sound all night which she said sounded like birds chirping and woke her up several times. Also the layout is kind of odd so that you have to do a LOT of walking to get to your room from the parking and the lobby. This is probably to keep people playing in the casino, but was not optimal for us.
Last minute trip. Cost was more than I thought it should be, but we enjoyed our stay.
