Not very much parking. Not bad for Travelodge. They give you more bathroom toiletries than I expected. The shower was super small and not as clean as I'd prefer, but the rest of the bathroom was great.
This room was small, but no problem as I don't spend much time in motel rooms.
I needed to get around the Marin county/bay area for the weekend, and this location suited my needs. The staff was friendly and courteous. I even left an article in the room and was able to pick it up on my way back through the area.
We were looking for an affordable place to stay that was between Muir Woods and San Francisco. This place matched what we needed perfectly. Although the room wasn't fancy, it was clean and came with HBO and free internet. Continental breakfast was also included but if that wasn't enough there was a coffee/breakfast place within walking distance. Overall, I would recommend this place to others and stay there again given the chance.
The room was on the first floor which was good, however the bathroom was bigger than the room. the bed was uncomfortable we needed a plunger every time we used the bathroom. there was a smell in the room. The Wi-Fi was real bad - unusable
older hotel..very clean..friendly staff..cool weather..great ocean smell
Room was quiet, mostly clean (a few hairs in the bathroom), and overall comfortable. The beds were a bit worn - I don't think I could sleep there more than one night. The carpet looked new, which was REALLY nice! Located in a nice area. Didn't use the free breakfast but it looked pretty scant. We were satisfied with our stay, HOWEVER, we were almost turned away because our credit card was not imprintable so the front desk clerk was not able to use it for incidental expenses. He said that he was 'putting his job on the line' by letting us stay without a credit card to imprint. They really need to update their antiquated system because all credit cards are now made this way.
Staff is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to a friend
We were pleasantly surprised with this motel, expecting the worst since it was so much cheaper than the usual Marin fare. The room was nice, had a view of a marsh in the back and was surprisingly quiet since it is on a frontage road by the freeway. Location made it easy to get to the city and anywhere else in Marin. We did not have a chance to try the Indian food at the restaurant at the motel, but understand from our relatives in Marin that it is outstanding. Maybe we'll have a chance to sample it next time.(I'm sure we will stay here at our next visit as well).
A busy spot, we were off the highway so didn't hear the traffic. Our first night we had a smoking room - the only one available, and I didn't know to request non-smoking at booking time - but the next day they found a non-smoking room for us. Breakfast is minimal: a snack, really. Shower nice, bathroom quite large, good lighting. A good value.
Close to freeway, old windows that allowed in much noise. Old but ok place. Glad it was inexpensive. It is very conveniently located.
This hotel is easy off the Hwy. 101 to San Francisco, Sausalito, Mill Valley and Stinson Beach. The continental breakfast was very substantial.
This was very reasonable and certainly provided value for the price. It is right off the freeway, everything is quite drivable from this location. This is a basic place with a bed, bathroom and television set. It was clean. Being right off the 101, there was the sound of traffic, but it functions like white noise. This is not the place if you are looking to hang out in your hotel room, get pampered, walk on down to the pool (there isn't one), but for an economy stay it is fine.
Excellent location for on/off of hwy 101 and proximity to Muir Woods, Stinson Beach, other local attractions. Friendly staff. Clean and appeared recently remodeled. Whirlpool bathtub a nice feature. Quiet.
The hotel staff was friendly & the facility was cleaner that the reviews indicated. If staying in a room away from the highway the noise level is quite liveable. They are actively upgrading the facility. In our room - just about everything had been upgraded to incl the bathroom fixtures, wallpaper, bed linens, etc. Carpet is still old - but manageable. Price is good for the area and the proximity to Sausalito is excellent [5 minutes].
4 nights: ! THE CARPET IS ABSOLUTELY DIRTY. Try to walk with no shoes... The BREAKFAST is unbeliavable!!! Guests take the coffee at the lobby, with no space and no places to sit.
This hotel was dirty and in need of repair. The staff did their best with what they had to work with. The noise from the highway was pretty bad unless you request a room in the back building.
Upon arrival we were told that the king size bed we reserved was not available. They upgraded us to a queen bed with jacuzzi in bathrooom. The room had an off odor and the carpets were stained. The wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling and the toilet seat had a strange yellow stain on it. The staff we encountered were friendly and courteous and doing the best with what they had.
This hotel was extremely dirty and run down. There was black mold throughout the shower and bathroom. Last resort hotel.
